CarTrawler to host Careers Open Day this Saturday

Having recently announced the creation of 400 new jobs in Dundrum, CarTrawler will host a Careers Open Day this Saturday 28th March.

Visitors will get a tour of their offices and have the opportunity to meet employees and discuss the different roles available across the company. Students interested in applying for CarTrawler’s 2016 Graduate Programme are also welcome to attend the Open Day and find out more information about the application process.

“We’re inviting people to our offices to give them a feel for our company culture and a chance to meet the team”, says Gillian French, Chief People Officer at CarTrawler. “We currently employ more than 350 brilliant people in Dublin, Boston and London and our staff canteens are buzzing with new faces almost every day. The mix of 24 different nationalities has created a really vibrant workplace culture where innovation is encouraged, failure is learnt from and success is celebrated”, she explains.

CarTrawler is currently hiring for a wide range of roles and are particularly interested in meeting language-speakers, tech wizards and those looking for full and part-time roles in the new Customer Centre of Excellence which opened last year.

“We surveyed the candidates who visited our first Careers Open Day back in October and 98% of them said they would recommend CarTrawler as a place to work to their friends. Since then, we’ve hired 186 talented people and have lots more available in Dublin right now. We’re proud to employ some of the best people in the industry and as we grow our global business, we need to hire great people who have a desire to make a difference and have fun while they do it!”

She added, “We’re also looking to recruit PhD students for a pioneering Data Science Summer School taking place in London this summer (dubbed S2DS). This is the second year CarTrawler has supported the summer school which aims to recruit 100 of Europe’s brightest PhD students and turn them into data scientists during a five-week intensive course”.

The CarTrawler Careers Open Day will take place in the company headquarters located at Classon House, Dundrum Business Park, Dublin 14 between noon and 3pm on Saturday 28th March 2015.

You can book a place for this event here www.cartrawler.com/OpenDay and details of open positions can be found on www.cartrawler.com/careers.
