Virtonomics aims at creating cryptocurrency based on a radically new paradigm of its generation immediately in the business simulation game. It is remarkable that Virtonomics is already operating on the market for more than 10 years, being one of the most popular and forward-looking MMO business simulators worldwide. We are successfully developing an alternative virtual global economy with a clientbase exceeding 2 million users registered. With the fast spread of blockchain technology, Virtonomics is introducing a new dimension to the strategy game experience – cryptocurrency Virtonomics (VICoin)!

Virtonomic$: Core Idea

Virtonomics global multiuser business simulator creates its proprietary cryptocurrency, VICoin (VIC), V and an ecosystem for earning the cryptocurrency in an online economic game emulating the formation and development of an alternative global virtual economy. The cryptocurrency is gained during the game in a realistic business simulation where users build and expand their virtual companies, trade and compete with each other, and develop the business ecosystem in the virtual economic environment. The resources and tools for generation and «digging» of the “fuel” are special game entities purchased for VIC tokens (such as virtual mines extracting natural resources, virtual mining farms, virtual power plants etc). The volumes of “fuel” production for Virts cryptocurrency depend on the success and competitive position of a player’s virtual business, and on the quality and amount of mining assets owned by the user.

A Virtonomics player can act in two ways depending on his ambitions, experience and investment capabilities.

  1. As an investor, owner and CEO of a virtual company who can hire other Virtonomics players as managers;
  2. As a hired manager running certain units (division director) or a functional manager supervising key business functions and processes (marketing, sales, production director). The employer pays for the employee’s work in cryptocurrency. Labor contracts and associated settlements are realized in the blockchain based on Ethereum smart contracts.

 How are you different?

Mining presumes large and difficult calculations, which are heavily burdening your computer, with almost no participation. It is accessible only for miners and tech professionals, but not for the mass audience. The project provides a radically new model of cryptocurrency generation, making the process of its gaining obvious for anybody acquainted with the basics of business or management.

Thus the main idea of Virtonomics can be represented by a short formula:
CRYPTOCURRENCY = BLOCK MINING + RESULT OF MEANINGFUL HUMAN ACTIVITY,  CLEAR AND FAMILIAR TO MASS AUDIENCE

We leave block mining to professional and industrial miners and use the produced Ethereum cryptographic blocks as the technological foundation for creation of VICoin cryptocurrency while enabling the bulk of users earning cryptocurrency by purposeful and meaningful actions that are by far more familiar to them. In the context of our project, we refer to such activities as “digging”.

In the game, cryptocurrency extraction occurs during the realistic business simulation game process where users set up and develop their virtual companies, trade and compete with each other, expand business ecosystem in a virtual economic space. This way, your business success doesn’t depend on any external factors but on your own. More than that, the game itself is an interesting strategic and communicative process, where you are immersed entirely. It depends not on the electricity power of your computer, but on your own productivity! That is why you can manage your business efficiency and control the process. Accordingly, no special investment is needed, as you can initially buy a product, which pays off in 6 months, and if efficiently managed, brings you up more than 200%!

Use of tokens on our platform as well as their ‘mining’ (so-called ‘digging’ in the game) is to increase the attractiveness of the platform itself and to make our game more interesting for millions of crypto-enthusiasts as it gives an opportunity to earn real money.

We build an ecosystem that will enable anyone with basic knowledge of economy, management and entrepreneurship to become a «digger» who applying and capitalizing on own expertise and skills in order to earn cryptocurrency in a multiuser global business simulator that emulates macro- and micro economical processes along with the interaction of economic agents

  • We develop an ecosystem of a virtual economy where one can get a return on his investments in the virtual company assets, generating the “fuel” for the cryptocurrency without burning away megawatts of electricity, buying tons of expensive hardware and video cards, or renting space for mining farms. More than that, it will allow direct capitalization on one’s intellectual capabilities, management skills, labor and time spent on the creation and development of a virtual economy.
  • In such ecosystem of a virtual economy, everyone can create and run his own company, invest all available capital in its development and gain convertible cryptocurrency from the investments.
  • We create an ecosystem of an alternative economy where the owner and head of a large virtual company generating a sufficient amount of cryptocurrency can hire other people, regardless of their location in order to help managing and scaling up the enterprise, and pay them in cryptocurrency.

Why will you do well?

– The project is worth while paying attention to, as it is not just a new coin, but an ICO based on the long-run and well-used final project, already existing for 11 years. Virtonomics is the most famous and respectable project in its field of designing and engineering virtual economies. It is already used all over the world as a platform for teaching students the basics of business and management. ICO in such case aids in creating a better and more convenient and understandable infrastructure based on the existing and reliable Ethereum technological platform. Expanding the Virtonomic$ project according to existing competences and skills is inevitable on this concrete stage of project realization. ‘Digging’ is easier to understand for mass audience, particularly for people familiar with the basics of business. It is considered to be not just a way of fund-raising as for usual ICO, but rather a way of enhancement of a final product.

Where are you based?

Company is incorporated in European Union, the USA and Russian Federation. Head office is located in Vilnius, Lithuania. There is also an office in Moscow, Russian Federation.

When was the company launched?

We are present on the market of educative online game services since 2006, when the project was run publicly. During 11 years the project is growing drastically, as the number of users already reached more than 2 million.  For this period the project became the most famous MMO business simulation.

In 2015 we launched educational project called Simformer, actually based on developed Virtonomics platform, in order to teach students and managers the basics of business and management. Once launched, Simformer gained many awards. Especially important, that it was named a Finalist in the 2016 Best of Elearning! presented by Elearning! Magazine. Aforementioned affirms the highest possible creditability of Virtonomics product.

The idea of ICO and cryptocurrency creation originated in 2016, so in autumn 2017  we already announced the start of development, and after launched the Pre-Sale stage.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

  • We introduce a new approach to ‘mining’ for mass audience.
  • More than 2 million users from many countries of the world have passed through the whole project from its beginning.
  • Our platform is actively used in different educational institutions and companies worldwide in order to learn the basics of economics and business.

  • Our key «asset» is our team – we all know each other for at least more than ten years.

Who are you trying to attract to your product?

We try to attract 3 groups of audience, from which the first is those interested in purchasing tokens of reliable ICO based on proven and already operating decisions. Second group is those interested in cryptocurrency with a high potential of growth, who purchase cryptocurrencies at the very privileged stages of ICO anticipating on their price increase. Third group is those aiming at earning cryptocurrency without any difficult technologies requesting special equipment purchase. These are those who can convert their skills and time into a ‘new type’ mining (so-called ‘digging’). It is possible thus to perform either as an investor when purchasing and owning an asset which brings return, or as a manager of a business receiving benefits during the game process while developing your business ensuring the growth of the production multiplier.

Tell us about your team?

The project was founded by Sergey Menshchikov, undoubtedly, a very strong leader with vast experience in business. One of his projects was Forex Club, a small provincial company he joined in distant 2002. Together with his team, he managed to transform it into a large international company. In 2006 he started another business Virtonomics. In 2014 Sergey co-founded Simformer, an educational platform, nominated in 2016 for Best of Elearning Award by Elearning! Magazine.

Sergey Morgalev, Technical Director with 30 years of experience in software development, is Sergey Menshchikov’s college buddy and has taken part in all Menshchikov’s projects since their graduation. Having launched together at least two highly successful projects they are more likely to be on the same wavelength, and there is little risk that at some stage of the VICoin project the IT director – the key person in the team – will leave the project due to some disagreements, lack of communication or misunderstanding.

Mikhail Rakhaev, PhD., game design enthusiast, is another strong addition to the team with his more than 25 year-experience of game design and software development. Like Sergey Morgalev, he took part in creating Virtonomics algorithms, which means that he is neither new to the VICoin project.

Denis Zhuravkov, game designer and community manager, joined Virtonomics in 2008 and offered the project his vast experience and expertise in logistics, marketing and finance in the real sectors such as O&G refining, retail and online trade.

And last but not least Anton Fedotov, design / UX, joined Menshchikov’s team only three years ago, but before that he had worked as a web designer for two biggest newspapers in Russia – Izvestia and Moskovsky Komsomolets, which undoubtedly means that he knows what he is doing and the potential fans of the game will not be disappointed.
