By @SimonCockingTow_Now_App On Demand Tow Trucks  Never be stuck again when you’re broken down. Free App Download: Google,  Apple

Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

Tow Now app, a revolutionary new app that will be a ground breaking industry first in Ireland.

Tow Now app will now offer the largest tow truck network in Ireland and its aim is to help rescue people who are stranded when their cars have broken down. This app will revolutionize the Towing Industry in Ireland.

Whether you need your car towed to a local garage for repairs or your car needs to be nct’d it’s no problem for Tow Now. Tow Now app will allow you to track your tow truck in real time as it comes to pick you up in minutes. Tow Now uses open and transparent billing so that you know anytime you need help it won’t come with a surprise at the end of the rescue!

How are you different?

Currently it can be difficult to locate a car that is broken down. Now with the use of the apps GPS the car owner can simply open the Tow Now app and request the next available tow truck. With this application of technology the goal of Tow Now is to help reduce the wait time for the stranded driver. This new tow truck hailing system will negate the sometimes difficult location of a nearby tow truck by calling around to each individual company. Just tap the app and tow.

Why will the company / product do well?

This app will secure its success in the future as it uses modern technology to pair motorists in distress with the service provider they need.

There is no sign up costs or subscription costs to the service provider or the customer in need. The app is quickly downloaded and right away the customer has access to the largest network of Tow Truck and Recovery Drivers in Ireland. The turn around time to get the nearest Tow Truck to you will happen in minutes now and the Tow Truck will arrive at your breakdown location via GPS. The Irish car owner or garage owner now has instant access to recovery and towing services that in the past would have been an expensive subscription based model.

Where are you based?

Tow Now is a nationwide internet/app service based in North Wicklow / South Dublin.

When was the company launched?

The company was formally launched to the public on 1/5/17. But background testing and development has been on going since February 2016.

The initial idea started back in 2015 when we considered how an app like Hailo could work to transform the Towing industry.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

Our biggest wins to date have been the phenomenal response and support we have had from the general public and our service partners in the run up to our launch.

The Tow Truck owners and operators have been amazing and have really pushed the vision with their contributions during the initial phase of the drivers coming on board.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

We are aiming at any tech savvy motorist that owns a smart phone as well as any busy garage workshop managers that see the advantage in the availability of a local tow service provider at short notice coupled with comprehensive receipts detailing pickup and delivery times, distance traveled and service provider’s credentials.

Tell us about your team?

James has been heavily involved in the motor industry since his teenage years and owns his own recovery business.

Darren has a background in mechanical engineering, marketing and project management.

What are your long term plans for your product/company?

We plan to grow the business throughout Ireland so it’s a household name and the industry standard for Towing and Recovery in Ireland working towards our long term goal of entering key markets all across Europe.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

Our favourite tech gadget would have to be the smartphone:). But both of us love apps that allow simplicity of service. How we communicate and do business has changed rapidly over the past 2 years. The shift towards on demand apps can only grow.
