Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

Token Changer is the first ever platform for distributed financial applications (DApps). We design, build and host simple to complex financial dapps on multiple blockchains. Through a web browser interface, our dapps can be discovered and used on our website –

How are you different?

There is just nothing like it. This is the first platform focused on decentralised financial applications. We have just launched our first DApp on the ethereum testnet (rinkeby). The app is a futures contract the offers traders a 3200% leverage. For advanced traders the DApp offers trading risk management capabilities.

Why will you do well?

We have first mover advantage, a good team, an ever increasing product pipeline and a very large market scope (financial services).

Where are you based?

We are based in the UK but fully decentralised! From Europe, US and Central America. Token Changer is a virtual organisation operating on a 24 hr clock. That is the only way we can operate effectively in the crypto space.

When was the company launched?

We started working on the project in Jan 2017

What have been your biggest wins to date?

The launch of our Futures Dapp by far. Early feedback is great and we truly feel like we are adding something of value to the crypto trading ecosystem. We have also successfully attracted some great influencers and advisors like (Simon Cocking, Hans Koning and Alex Rutledge) it is comforting to see so much support from a community of very knowledgeable people.

Who are you trying to attract to your product?

Anybody that uses financial products and services. There are so many dapps we are developing and we are also looking to partner with traditional financial services organisations throughout the world. We believe we can build dapps that serve as a bridge between traditional finance and crypto.

What tips would you give to others looking to build their business?

Make something that matters. Once this done , test, adapt and iterate. I can honestly say that we are product focused at Token Changer. Making a great product is the only way you will build anything that last in this fast paced environment.

Tell us about your team?

There are five of us working full-time on the project. George, my co-founder has been in the crypto space for over five years now. He has seen and been involved in some of the great moments in the nascent history of blockchain technology. He was involved in the Ripple, Ethereum and Maidsafe ICO’s. He has an instinct for good technology and he is our core developer.

As for me I have been completely under the spell of Distributed Ledger Technologies for a bit more than a year now. My background is in creating new businesses and growing existing companies around the world. I have a deep understanding of the sales cycle and organizations through selling millions of dollars worth of services to individuals and companies in various industries.

Luke, our community manager is a real growth hacker, with experience managing communities in the blockchain industry and understands the specifics of it. We rely on him to manage our emerging community.

Additionally we have a business developer with 10 years of experience selling Saas and financial products and a front-end developer.

We are all excited and motivated to fulfill our mission of building the biggest destination for financial dapps on the world wide web.

What are your plans for the future?

Through alliances with traditional financial services companies we are looking to build a dapp that will power cross border remittances. We are also really interested in the tokenization of traditional financial assets which is a huge market segment. We are truly excited about the opportunities we see to improve the existing ecosystem.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

Metamask. Without this gadget our project will not exist in its current form. It allows us to abstract the complexities of the blockchain from the user and present dapps on the browser in a manner people are used to.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

We are looking at building or using some blockchain middleware in the medium term. As blockchains proliferate the need for interconnection will become more severe. We want to present dapps to users without the user caring about the blockchain powering the dapp.

How do people get in touch with you?

We are building an open community on reddit and telegram. The team is there to answer questions and provide support.
