Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

Hello, my name is Shawn Michaels and I am the owner of Thesmartlad.com. The Smart Lad is an Amazon affiliate store. We review products related to Climbing and Hunting. This project is joint venture between me and my British partner Azzam Sheikh.

How are you different?

We only review those products which are tested and verified by us and our team.

Why will the company / product do well?

It has already bring a lot of sales for us even in the 4th month. We are expecting 200% ROI in the next 2 months.

Where are you based?

We are based in the UK.

When was the company launched?

The business was launched on 1st July 2016.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

The biggest wins so far is that we have successfully build and good reputation in the Outdoor gear industry. We are getting a lot of sales. It’ll be too soon for us to predict but the business is going to making $3K monthly in the next months. We have just started it. The real profit will come once the website is established and a bit old. The target is to reach $10K a month after 8 months.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

People who are interested in buying outdoor gear, who love climbing, hunting, hiking, camping and traveling.

Tell us about your team?

At the moment we have 3 full time employees who are managing the website, content and content marketing. We also have 2 part time employees who help us to be featured on sites like Business.com and Huffington Post.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

The long term plan is to generate a continuous income stream of $10K per month (in profits) with it.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

I love Samsung Galaxy phones, Kindle book reader and my Mac.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

I think an online projector screen will help me big time.
