Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

Stomp Social media training, consultation and management for businesses throughout Ireland and the UK. Making Social Media Simple

How are you different?

My USP would be my customised, 121 training that fills the gaps in your knowledge and I come to you. I don’t have frills, I just create a solution to your problem.

Why will the company / product do well?

I have maintained a level of honesty throughout my 3 and a half years and have never tried to make out I am a large company. I network extensively so that people get the chance to meet me and I attend a large amount of social media training events to keep my expertise current. I also make myself more easy to relate with and easy to contact!

Where are you based?

Mullingar, Co Westmeath

When was the company launched?

May 2013

What have been your biggest wins to date?

Gaining Bord Iascaigh Mhara as an ongoing client. Finding and appearing on the international online summit Marketing Success Summit and blogging for ITN!

Do I need to be on every social media platform? Social media insights with Melanie Boylan

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

My primary target would have been and still is to a large extent Startups. I have been so very lucky with the support I have had to date from the likes of the Local Enterprise Office and people such as Samantha Kelly, Jenny Brennan, Barbara Gordon, Emma Darcy and many other social media marketers and my family and friends in getting the support and training I have needed to help set up my business and make it the success it is. I want to give back and support others now and this business is my outlet.

I have found over time as well that established businesses have come to me for help too. They have approached me on how to better manage their time and give them some redirection and update their current skills. So having both client profiles in mind is useful when I create content.

Tell us about your team?

The whole team consists of me! But I have worked alongside website designers, photographers, printers and graphic artists whom I recommend and have sent business too as well.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

I would like to do more regular collaborations with other businesses. I am slowly but surely getting more speaking engagements too. Personally I don’t intend to become the next big thing out there. I enjoy having the close relationships I have with the clients and that might not be possible if I am always on the road and producing mass content rather than seeing people and helping them.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

I really couldn’t live without my Smartphone! The apps I have on their have ensured I am able to keep up with my and my clients audience and I can prepare content on the go too.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

I am getting myself an early Christmas present of an updated Tablet as it makes it so much easier to use with clients who aren’t used to using laptops/desktops.

How do people get in touch with you?

If anybody needs to reach me, please email me at [email protected] or call me on 085 286 0502. If I don’t answer I could be driving or with someone but will get back asap.
