Describe the company – The elevator pitch

Growth hacking is a term used to describe many of the clever and unconventional techniques companies like Dropbox, Uber, Instagram and Airbnb used to transition quickly from budding startups to multimillion dollar companies.

RockBoost is a professional growth hacking agency from Rotterdam that has succeeded in helping over 200 companies achieve their growth goals. We will work to effectively double your company’s growth rate, regardless of what industry you’re in.

How are you different?

We spent years developing our own growth framework called The 7 Pillars of Growth Hacking. It’s a unique approach that focuses on more than just tactics — it ensures companies have all the right pieces in place for achieving exponential growth. To make this happen, we provide in-depth training to our clients’ teams and involve them as much as possible during implementation. This makes certain their growth is sustainable, and makes them less dependent on us in the long run.

Why will the company / product do well?

Our agency has mushroomed over the last 2 years and is set to grow further. Demand is prompting us to expand into Ireland and the US. We have a large international team of top growth hackers working with all kinds of exciting companies. Most importantly, we are highly systematic and data driven in everything we do. Putting data forefront and centre makes for a strategy that can’t lose.

Where are you based?

Our head office is in Rotterdam, a city named by TechCrunch and others to be one of the hottest startup hubs in Europe. We’re located in the famous Van Nelle Factory, home to many of the Netherland’s most innovative companies. This year we will also open offices in New York and Dublin.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

For one of our clients in the automotive industry, we implemented a simple hack that increased their number of online conversions by 2328.72% and drove acquisition costs down by 92.87% over a 6 month period. They are happy, and their customers are happy. We’re pretty stoked about it too.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

In the early days, we worked mostly with startups. The trend is changing, however, and increasingly larger companies are hiring us as it becomes clear that in this digital business age traditional marketing can’t deliver the same results data-focused growth hackers can. Our clients include logistic companies, SaaS providers and even supermarket chains. Growth hacking is completely indifferent to what industry you are in. We’ll growth hack your barbershop if you want.

Tell us about your team

We have people with a pretty diverse set of backgrounds including business, marketing, finance, psychology and design. We also have a whole team of hardcore programmers. This enables us to not only use existing tools to help clients grow, but actually build any custom application a company might need.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

Simple. World domination.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

Anything that captures good video. Video is the biggest up and coming traction channel, and we love to make use of it as much as we can.

What is some of your favorite software?

We make heavy use of online tools like Google Analytics, Kissmetrics, Hotjar and others which allow us to gain insight into your (potential) customers and how they interact with your online assets. Zapier is also something we love… Anything that makes our work easier, faster and more automated gets a big thumbsup from us.

Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?

Where can I learn more about growth hacking? We’re glad you asked! RockBoost is running hands-on growth hacking workshops regularly in Dublin city centre. We’ll teach you all you need to know to start thinking and working like a pro growth hacker yourself.
