Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

Refer Me Please is a new professional social network that aims to make recruiting processes much easier and better. Employee Referral programs are now the top sources for companies when it comes to hire, yet no official platform is really dedicated to it.
70% of companies have an employee referrals program. Only 49% of employees take advantage of referral programs, because they don’t know anyone to refer.
That’s where ‘Refer Me Please’ steps in.

The interaction is solely between the employees of a company that’s hiring and possible candidates that need referrals, so the process is faster and more direct.
It also helps companies get the highest quality of applicants so it’s a win-win-win.

How are you different?

Refer Me Please is different as candidates are pre-screened by employees first. If referred by employees, then they will get in touch with HRs and hiring managers during the interview process.

We put the employees on the front line to select the best candidates for their company. If the referral is successful, the candidate gets a job, the employee receives a reward and the company found a new talent spending less and faster.

Why will the company / product do well?

Employees Referral program is the best way for companies to hire the best candidates at the lowest cost. And we truly believe it is. This is why we are focusing on giving companies a new way to find the best talents and hire them at the lowest costs. using their employees who know who could be a great fit to the company. We launched less than 6 months ago, but have already success stories that prove our platform is working.

Where are you based?

We are based in Dublin, at the Liffey Trust, a co-working space near the 3 Arena. Broadband is good and quite fast, without any major issues. We are planning to stay here for a while before a potential move to the US.

When was the company launched?

The company has been created in April, beta launched in June and global launch in July. We are a very new startup but steadily growing week over week in terms of users and referrals.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

We are pleased that some people secured jobs thanks to our social network (Oracle, Google, LinkedIn, etc…). To date, we have more than 120 companies using the website via their employees, with companies such as Google, Oracle, Bank of Ireland, Facebook, Ernst and Young, to name a few.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

We are focusing on 3 segments: young graduates looking for their first full time job, people looking for a career change and employees working in a company using an employee referral program. For now, these companies are mainly big companies in tech, consulting and banking. But we will focus later on on small and medium business and try to help them change their hiring strategy.

Tell us about your team?

Our team is made of ex-Googlers or people working in big tech companies, really data-driven, creative, with a great network spread over Ireland, France and the US. We are now currently looking for our lead developer to bring our website to the next level.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

We are focusing on growing our user’s database for now to keep our steady growth. We will then bring new solutions to companies to easily manage their referrals with an ATS (applicant tracking system). We will scale too to cover more markets/countries and get more companies to use our system. especially startups and SMBs.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

My Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is always with me. With such a big screen, I can work form anywhere as it’s almost like if I have a tablet with me, that can fit into my pocket.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

I just started using Spaceship, which helps me keep track on my KPIs. The dashboard and widgets are insanely good. Just wish they had an app!

How do people get in touch with you?

We can get in touch with us via email (contact@refer-me-please.com), our website (www.refer-me-please.com), Twitter @refermeplease , Linkedin and Facebook (Refer Me Please).
