ProSeeder is a financial enterprise solution empowering investment firms to conduct all of their operations related to securities transactions.

Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

ProSeeder Technologies has created a SaaS-based enterprise platform for managing direct investing in the private securities marketplace. The system enables investment firms to manage investment and corporate operations such as deal intake, deal collaboration, due diligence, investor and LP Reporting, and compliance, on a single, fully- integrated system.

How are you different?

Our platform is white labelled allowing firms to build value in their brand, we configure the platform to meet the needs of each client which has allowed us to work with early stage angel investment networks, VCs, family offices and investment banks. Entrepreneurs looking for funding apply to the firms using our system but once created can have their deal potentially shared with the 200 firms using our platform as well as effectively keep investors informed of news and other metrics even post investment, maintaining investor relations. We address the needs of both investors and entrepreneurs.

Why will the company and product do well?

We have an experienced team. Ken Gatz founder & CEO is an experienced securities attorney so knows the space well. He is also a successful serial entrepreneur. We have also grown very quickly in a short space of time so I think we have recognised there is a need among so many investment firms for a product like ours that is not been fully addressed by anyone else.

Where are you based? How long will you stay there?

We are based in Dogpatch Labs and will be for the foreseeable future in Dublin. The broadband is very good. I think it’s by far the best co-working space in Dublin and has a great mix of companies with enough room for us to grow.

When was the company launched?

2013 in New York.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

Since commercial launch in April 2014 we have on-boarded the largest and most active angel investment firms in the US to our platform and continue to grow quickly expanding to other segments of the market including working with fortune 500 companies.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

We work with firms who facilitate or conduct direct investments in the private securities marketplace. These are the institutional licensees of our product. Angel investment networks, venture capital firms, family offices, broker-dealers, investment banks, fortune 500 companies and corporate venture arms etc.

Tell us about your team?

We have a great team of 15 people. We work closely together and have built a really good culture. We just recently established our Dublin office and are actively looking to add full stack java developers to the team.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

Continue to expand our client base and our team. We have high aspirations to change the face of the private securities industry in the same way the public markets have been standarised and gone online.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

We all live on our phones. We realised this was such an important part of staying connected that we recognised the need to develop our mobile app for the ProSeeder platform to continue addressing our clients needs. Outside of our phones we use Slack a lot internally for quick communications within the team. It helps the Dublin office stay in touch with the guys in New York.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

A battery that lasted forever on my phone or an app that can slow down time! Being a small team, part of the challenge is still trying to juggle so many different things so time management is an important part of my day. I started using our activities reminder feature we built in to ProSeeder to help me stay on top of my day. We try to use our own tools as much as possible.
