How are you different? is different in many ways. For one we have been in the logistics industry for over 20 years, meaning we know what we are doing, and how to provide the best services for our customers. Another is that we are an Irish based company with an Irish based customer service team. I can’t count the number of calls we have mistakenly received from people trying to get through to other companies who have no contact number or are based abroad with no knowledge of the Irish market.

We offer advice. We are always on hand through phone, email, Facebook or twitter to answer questions or offer advice to our customers

Where are you based?

We are based in the heart of Cork City Centre. The staff love it here and it is becoming a real hub for tech companies, with Apple opening up a new office last year and Facebook Oculus, AlienVault and Huawei all about to move into the city centre.

When was the company launched?

We launched in 2014 so are a relatively new company who are still developing our brand and service offerings, but over the next year we hope to introduce new products and services the will make really stand out from the crowd.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

Our biggest wins so far have been the smallest increments. It’s the small developments we have made which has meant our services are more reliable and cost effective for our customers. We are also extremely proud of our partnerships with our carriers. We have worked with them to develop a relationship that is of huge advantage to us both and not just one way traffic.

We are delighted with our independent reviews and the level of goodwill towards us. We have over 94% 4 and 5 star reviews on these sites, which is a huge achievement and means we are doing something right.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product? is a service for anyone. We can cater to the occasional shipper sending personal goods or people relocating abroad. Our focus is also on small and medium businesses who do not ship huge volumes of parcels, who can take advantage of our greatly discounted rates. We also develop a number of cart plugins, bulk upload tools and customise API’s for people selling online. This is part of our strategy to make selling and shipping online as easy as possible for small businesses in Ireland.

We have a wide range of customers in all industries. We have retail chains using us for inter store transfers, craft beer and food companies, electronics companies, eBay and amazon sellers.

Tell us about your team?

We have a very small dynamic team who are all dedicated to their roles and who we are really proud of. We are always keen to ensure that communication across all departments is very open so everyone has a complete understanding of all the jobs in the company. This is hugely important in terms of customer service, where anyone can answer a call and the customer feels they are dealing with someone who cares and understands any issues which may arise.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

Our plans for in the long term is to develop a brand that is synonymous with low cost, secure and reliable delivery for consumers and businesses throughout the country. We are working with our partners to develop easy to use and convenient systems for both delivery and collection of parcels.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

It still has to be my smart phone, which is a business tool I could not like without. For the fun factor I purchased my daughter a VR headset. A very basic one that you slot your smartphone into, but we have been having some great fun with it.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

We would like to see a lot more GPS used in the future to help our customers with times of deliveries. I think the major development will be in the unmanned small delivery robots being developed at the moment. I can see a future where our streets will be shared with these, delivering everything from parcels to food.
