In short we are a bunch of tech geeks who love helping small businesses succeed and compete with bigger players. Here’s just some of the services on offer:

• Novi Managed Services reduce the cost and burden of IT support and maintenance. Our proactive services help ensure the health and stability of your business technology.

• Novi Hybrid Cloud Solutions are often the right fit for most businesses. Consisting of flexible cloud services such as Office 365 and on premise solutions for critical business applications.

• Novi Managed Disaster Recovery services ensure your business is ready to keep essential systems running in the event of a disaster.

How are you different?

What makes us different is our approach. We are small and personal and very hands on with our clients. The personal touch is one of our unique selling points and a lot of our new business comes from recommendations from existing customers.  We like to do it like this:

Depending on a customer’s needs we can be their IT Partner, Virtual IT Department or a combination. Whatever the arrangement we deliver a high quality and professional service. And being tech lovers we love to keep up with the latest and greatest and we make sure to keep our customer’s IT infrastructure and solutions up-to-date.

Why will the company / product do well?

The future looks much brighter for SMEs in Ireland. Banks are starting to lend again and it has been recognised that the right IT solutions can enable smaller companies to compete at a higher level and some of them even internationally. IT solutions and infrastructure underpins a business. It is critical to their success making business processes run seamlessly, enabling staff to be more efficient and allowing businesses serve their customers better. We are looking forward to more SMEs investing in new ways of operating such as cloud and hybrid cloud services and Novi being part of that success.

Where are you based?

Naas Co Kildare but with our team of engineers and solutions consultants we serve companies all over Ireland. We also have an office in Dublin and Cork.

When was the company launched?

Novi is new! But we were formerly Globalnet established in 1999. We relaunched as Novi with a new look just this year. We felt the company need a facelift to go along with the more buoyant economic outlook. We’ve had great feedback so far to the rebrand. So although we have a new name we have 15+ years servicing the IT requirements of Irish business and bringing enterprise experience to a wide range of industries.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

We are currently working with some new companies who are involved in data crunching and predictions for some interesting industries like airlines and renewable energy. It’s a really growing area as more and more businesses realise that they can draw insights from analysing data and use that insight to make smarter business decisions. It’s really exciting for Novi to be involved.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

We work with a broad range of SMEs from 5/10 people outfits right up to over 100. We can be agile and flexible in our approach and can complement an existing IT team or manager or become that team.  

Tell us about your team?

We are a very capable team which allows us to be agile and very hands on with our customers. You will always reach one of our engineers if there’s a problem. In recognition of the fact that SMEs are starting to become one of the mainstays of the economy and that IT is critical to their success we have invested recently in marketing and sales capabilities as we really feel there’s a need for Novi our there!

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

We want to grow the business but maintain the very personalised approach. We never want our customers to feel that they can’t reach out to us or that they have to navigate a business to get in touch with the right person. As business grows we will grow the team and commitment to our customer’s and that personalised service will always be at the foremost of our plans.
