Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

Movidiam is a professional creative network and project management application for the creative industries. Start a brief on Movidiam and find the best possible team in the world for the scope of the project.

How are you different?

We are not crowdsourcing and we champion creatives and make it easier for clients to find them. We are not radically new, we are business as usual but using technology to enable and draw efficiency.

Why will the company/product do well?

Team, timing, team, plus a good idea with some execution behind it. It helps that Youtube is the second biggest search engine in the world and it’s owned by the largest. Great video is a real must for businesses and brands wanting to win and engage in 2017 and beyond.

Where are you based?

Our HQ is in the vibrant tech hub of Hammersmith and Fulham West London and we have users in 170 countries around the globe, everywhere apart from Greenland and North Korea. Starting an office in NYC in Q1 2018.

When was the company launched?

We launched the business in 2015 at AWS:- re:-Invent, in Las Vegas, hosted by Werner Vogels the CTO of Amazon.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

There have been thousands of pinch yourself moments when super talented creative teams and businesses register with the platform. When Footsie 250 or Fortune 500 companies come to the site to find teams that always nice.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

Anyone marketing teams, start-ups across the globe who are looking for a streamlined way to produce remarkable video content with the team of best fit for the brief.

Tell us about your team?

Myself and Alex Vero founded Movidiam in 2014, before that we’d run a production company for 12 years, where we build all the insight about the pain points people feel when creating video.

What are your long term plans for your product/company?

We intend to become the omnipresent destination of the web for commissioning video and creative content – that is one of our missions.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

Gotta be my i-phone, don’t have a relationship with much else building a business! Ha ha 😉

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

I’m sure a Tesla would help me get to work more efficiently, however, we are pretty down with our tech stack at Movidiam.

Anything else you’d like to add/we should have asked?

In our creative leaders podcast we speak with some of the most creative teams on the planet.

Need to make a film: Submit a brief here: www.movidiam.com/studio
