Describe the company – the elevator pitch
JNBMusic: The Virtual Jukebox is an app that allows you to interact with music in any restaurant, bar, coffee shop, gym, or public space where music is being played. Why don’t you try it out at your next Private Party
You see a sign that says “choose the music in this venue, download this app for free” You download the app, find the venue, view their playlist and vote for any track on the playlist. The track with the most votes plays next. If no one is voting then the playlist plays in its present order.
We also collect all the track level data; what track is played, how many times its played, what time of the day its played, and where it was played. This is invaluable data for many industry stake holders for example IMRO, , the Irish Collecting Society or any other collecting societies around the globe, brands, record labels, artists and many more…..

How are you different?
We don’t provide music or playlists to any venues. We are agnostic to source of music, device used to access the app, language, time zone & we are completely cloud based. No hardware no software. The venue just needs to have access to wifi and play music.
Why will the company/product do well?
Because we change the way people interact with music in a public space.
Just like Uber changed the interaction with booking a cab and Airbnb changed the way you book a hotel so will JNB Music change the way you interact with music in a public space.
Where are you based?
When was the company launched?

We did our first country launch in November 2016 in Romania.
We are launching in an organic grass roots way using Country Partners.
Country Partners are companies who are entrenched in the entertainment and hospitality industry with strong connections to brands, advertisers, press and key stakeholders in their territories.
We launched in Romania with “ROTON”, a leading music and entertainment company as our first Country Partner; they are incredibly successful, understand the value of music, consumer engagement and rich data.
We have identified 20 similar companies to ROTON that we already have strong relationships with, we will be launching over the next 36 months in all of them.
We have identified 40 similar companies that we already have strong relationships with in 40 countries which we will be launching over the next 36 months.
What’s your competition in the marketplace.
We have no direct competition as we are the only company based in the cloud, no hardware or software for the venue and we provide NO music.
