Why will you do well?
We strongly believe that technology should liberate people and empower the modern workforce to always be in control. This is why we are both really driven to ensure IT engineers all over the globe are able to progress their careers and be fairly remunerated and rewarded. This appeals to our engineers and helps us build a strong engineer base and therefore be able to effectively deliver a great service to our clients.
Where are you based?
Leatherhead, Surrey. We operate from a beautiful building looking over rolling hills. We’re proud to have IT engineers in over 130 countries though, so we’re a truly global company.
When was the company launched?
Officially 2017 but we have been building this since 2015.
What have been your biggest wins to date?
We are under NDA but what we can tell you is that we have major contracts with global brands in telco, oil and gas, Insurance, finance, retail and technology manufacturers.
Who are you trying to attract to your product?
We feel that companies that have geographical challenges in supporting their technology base and users are easy to convert and hence why we have established a customer base with such awesome brands, however we have created the technology and ease of access to our services. These services are easily affordable to the SMB market.

What tips would you give to others looking to build their business?
There are so many tips and we have made so many mistakes in building ours. I think number one on my list would be protecting your time, then focus on your product and selling it. Don’t get sucked into all the side shows, unnecessary meetings and things you would like to have that you can’t move on straight away.
Tell us about your team?
Our company’s virtues, strength, honour and respect form the foundation of the team that we have selected to start this business and then to drive scale. We are founded by a husband and wife team, Brett and Jenni, and there are 18 of us now that are full time, but really we are an army of 1200, that’s including engineers in 131 countries, 6 continents and 16 times zones.
What are your plans for the future?
We are already in the beginning stages of integrating our technology with global leading ITSM platforms and CRM’s which will give us exposure to the Fortune 500. Alongside that we are continuing our expansion plans to the USA and ASIA PAC.
What are your favourite tech gadgets?
Well we love smartphones, and without them we wouldn’t have been able to create what we have. 5G now brings a new world of possibilities and opportunities.
What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?
Google’s glasses for our engineers, that would make the world of difference in delivery.
Anything else you’d like to add/we should have asked?
I think that in the past Uber in particular has not set the world alight with workers’ rights, we really have the opportunity to address that with our products and services. We want to be really different in offering our freelance engineers the incentives and work life balance they deserve.
