Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

HydroMiner is a cryptocurrency mining company using green energy drawn from hydropower stations in the Alpine region of Europe. We currently are about to launch our Token Sale, also known as an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) to scale up our business.

How are you different?

On one hand, we are using eco-friendly sources of energy to power up ower mining rigs. On the other hand, our cost of electricity is currently 85% lower than the average in Europe.

Why will you do well?

We are great at building mining rigs.

Where possible, mining equipment is built inside standard sea freight containers. The advantage is that containers can easily be assembled near our headquarters in Vienna, Austria, and then taken to the hydropower station.

Where are you based?

We are currently evaluating two possibilities: Switzerland and Austria

What have been your biggest wins to date?

We have already rented out two Hydropower stations: Schönberg in Lower Austria and Murau in Styria (Hydro 2). We think this is something that additionally separates us from other ICOs, that have nothing more than an idea.

Who are you trying to attract to your product?

We are trying to attract investors that are interested in good returns-on-investment combined with cryptocurrencies.

What tips would you give to others looking to build their business?

Search for smart money – there are many investors that are ready to help young entrepreneurs.

Tell us about your team?

Just to name some:

CEO – Nadine Damblon (https://www.linkedin.com/in/nadine-damblon-243679147/) – Nadine co-founded HydroMiner in 2016 with her sister, Nicole. Her main responsibilities at HydroMiner are business development, strategic planning, and networking.  Nadine started crypto mining back in 2014 and holds a degree in media studies.

CTO – Christian Vogl (https://www.hydrominer.org/profile/christian-vogl/) – expert in hardware supply and network infrastructure.

Advisor – Jonas Sevel Karlberg (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonassevelkarlberg/)  – one of the advisors and helpers of Bancor (one of the biggest ICOs yet).

What are your long term plans?

We want to scale so we are the biggest miner in central Europe.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

I just adore my GoPro, even if it has its flaws.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

A robot that does all the maintenance at the mining farm.

Anything else you’d like to add/we should have asked?

“Do you have any cool videos showing your team and/or company”

Sure, check out promotional video, it also contains more info about the team and company: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2D2gzIwRhaw

How do people get in touch with you?

Mostly email or our telegram channels. But if this sparked your interest, then feel free to find out more over at our homepage.
