Ground Labs is a security software company dedicated to making sensitive data discovery products that help organisations prevent sensitive data loss. Our flagship product Enterprise Recon along with Card and Data Recon have helped thousands of organisations globally discover sensitive data across servers, workstations, documents, databases, emails, log files, cloud platforms and many other locations.

Why will the company / product do well?
The Cyber Security Market is estimated to reach 202 Billion USD by 2021. Companies are increasingly becoming more aware of the risk of a breach and the risks a breach carry to revenue and brand.
The GDPR regulation will be in force in Europe in May 2018, as part of this regulation organisations need to have their sensitive data secured. Fines associated with non-compliance are as high as 4% of global turnover. GDPR scope goes beyond European companies and applies to all organisations who have customers in Europe. Any company holding EU citizen data must comply with GDPR regulations or face fines.
Almost 40 per cent of businesses are fearful of a major compliance failing. Many of which have already been breached, they just don’t know it yet.

When was the company launched?
Ground Labs was founded in 2007 and launched its first product in 2008.
What have been your biggest wins to date?
Vodafone, Sainsbury, Travis Perkins. More than 2500 organisations have selected Ground Labs products to achieve compliance with PCI DSS and other data privacy requirements.
What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

The team is made up of security software professionals, engineers, technical support, sales and marketing covering APAC, EMEA and North America.
Dublin is the EMEA HQ and is home to the vastly experienced Global Head of Technical Support, Senior Development Engineers, VP of Sales and Head of Marketing who service the European and North America markets from the Dublin Hub.
What are you long term plans for your product / company?
Ambitious growth plans – expanding our client and partner base in Europe and North America.
What are your favourite tech gadgets?
Current favourite which is not work related is my Fitbit.
