We work with clients to implement strategies to help Prevent, Detect & Respond to fraud
and unethical behaviours in the workplace. We help organisations to save up 5% revenue per annum and to safeguard their jobs, assets, profits and reputation.

How are you different? Why will the company / product do well?
We are the only Irish firm solely dedicated to Fraud Prevention, Detection & Response..
The typical organisation loses on average 5% of annual revenue to fraud every year and on average fraudulent behaviour lasts for 18 months before detection. Implementing basic Anti-Fraud controls can reduce an organisation’s risk considerably. For instance 42% of fraud is uncovered as a result of anonymous tip-offs. We offer anonymous & confidential reporting through our website www.whistleblower.ie. We work with organisations to develop their anti-fraud strategy and to educate their staff on how they can make their environment hostile to fraud and unethical behaviours.

Our business address is 93 Upper George’s Street, Dunlaoghaire, Co. Dublin. The broadband is fine for our purposes.
How long will you stay there?
When was the company launched?
The company was formed in January 2015 and we went ‘live’ with websites in July 2015.

What have been your biggest wins to date?
Successful owner-managed companies in the SME sector that have outgrown the start up phase when they could review of all transactions in the business and were also involved in all recruitment activities. Owners wake up one night in a cold sweat realising that the company accountant or some other trusted employee is actually their biggest business risk. These are difficult thoughts to have never mind have a conversation about so that’s where we come in, we facilitate difficult conversations.
Charities too are also under increased scrutiny and regulation and we have received great interest in our services from enlightened NFP’s that see the value in what we do.
What type of people are you trying to attract to your product?
Medium sized firms suffer the greatest median losses to fraud, therefore we are targeting this sector currently. Ideally our client has got to a point where he has realised that while trust is essential it is not a control. In many cases the business owner has already made a mental note that addressing fraud risk is in “the important not urgent box of things to do” because of perceived challenges and our proposition is to make it easy for owners to address this risk.
We are also targeting the not-for-profit sector.

Robert Kelly FCA CFE Dip IFRS
Robert is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, a Certified Fraud Examiner, a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors, and he holds a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards. He is President of the Irish Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. With over 25 years of fraud
risk auditing and investigating experience he is the trusted advisor of many clients in this area.
Róisín Prizeman M.Ed. ACFE
Róisín holds a Master of Education Degree in Teaching and Learning. She is an associate member of the ACFE and sits on the board of the Irish Chapter of the ACFE. She has extensive experience of working with clients across a number of industries in developing a core understanding of their unique business needs.
What are your long term plans for your product / company?
Currently we offer training in our core service areas of Fraud Prevention, Fraud Detection, Fraud Response. We would like to take some of our training to an e-learning platform and see it become part of onboarding for employees.
We are also looking at partnering with other organisations in the cyber security space.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?
Personally, my phone as I use it as a ‘mini-office’ when on the road.
What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?
We’d love to develop an e-learning offering using Moodle or something similar and down the road an App that would integrate with the market leading accounting software packages and deliver red flag warnings that could be followed up in real time.
