Face My Case was established in 2011 by Jason Miller and it is a family owned Irish Business. Using high quality printing machines and technology to print customised phone cases, Face My Case offers a service that is provided by no one else in Ireland.
We spoke with Seán Leamy from Face My Case to find out more about the company and the technology involved in making personalised phone cases.
Q1 Hi Jason. Can you tell us about your company and the products that you offer?
Face My Case is a small Irish business that manufactures high quality custom phone cases. Customers can upload any image, photo or logo they choose with our online design tool and create their own case. All Face My Case phone cases are manufactured in Ireland.
Q2 When was the company established?
The company was established in 2011.
Q3 How many phones are your cases available for and what’s the average price?
We provide phone cases for 7 models of phone currently including the most popular iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models. Ready Made cases average price is €20.00 and customised cases average price is €25.00
Q4 What customisation options are available to your customers?
Customers can upload any image, logo or photograph they choose for their custom phone case.
Q5 Can you explain the printing process that you use for the cases?
We use a specialized 8 colour print and vacuum oven transfer process to insure the highest quality print possible and the longest lasting cases. The images are embedded into the surface of the phone case to prevent peeling, scratching and fading.
Q6 What advantages does it offer over traditional printing methods?
Traditional printing methods do not embed the images into the surface which causes them to scratch off over time and look worn. Our vacuum oven transfer process is second to none and the only way to get high quality images that do not lose their quality over time.
Our vacuum transfer process also allows us to pull the image around the sides of the phone case to give a 3D effect. With traditional printing processes this is not possible as the flatbed printers can only print on to a flat surface.
Q7 What’s the best way for people to get in contact with you?
People can contact us through our website or email info@facemycase.com
