Experty is a decentralised Skype-like app for mobile and desktop. Experts get paid by callers based on their predetermined minute rate. People from all across the globe, including the unbanked areas, can start selling their time, knowledge, and expertise in the world stage. We are using cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple or Litecoin for fair value knowledge exchange.
How are you different?
Compared to other ICOs: Unlike many other ICOs that raise funds before a product is made, we already have a working product. The alpha version will be launched in November 2017 and will be ready to use before ICO. We are also a successful software house company (React Poland), so we are capable to deliver product much faster. We believe that our approach – to provide working product will give us an advantage over other projects. On the other hand, we are already creating traction, we made an agreement with a few well-known company in crypto space that will use our app as soon as it will be ready.
Compared to our competition: In cryptospace there is a similar project called https://21.co/ The main difference is they created a portal for paid emails and we are creating a platform for paid calls with Experts. Also we don’t create a marketplace on which you will be able to search for an expert. Our approach is to create a tool – Experty app will be working like a regular phone number that you can share with anyone, the difference is you will get paid for your time. Compared to 21.co we don’t keep our customer’s money. Every transaction is managed by smart contract.

Why will you do well?
Digital consulting market is currently worth almost $23 billions and it’s growing from year to year in a rapid pace. Currently there is a lack of tools that support experts in selling their knowledge during quick/ad-hoc consultations. This niche is our goal. Thanks to the blockchain we are able unlock untap to ed market in unbanked and underbanked areas – people who don’t have access to traditional financial services will be able to sell their knowledge on global market via Experty.
We also have very experienced development team(we are founders of very successful software house -React Poland) and advisors on board.
Where are you based?
Experty AG is based in Switzerland. Our development studio React Poland is based in Poland.
When was the company launched?
We started working on Experty in Q2 2017. Officially Experty AG was launched early this month. Our development studio React Poland was launched in 2014.
What have been your biggest wins to date?
Our biggest win so far is our successful development studio React Poland with clients from whole world and over 10 developers. From Experty perspective our biggest win so far is seed investment round where we raised around $700K.
Who are you trying to attract to your product?
The system is suitable many knowledge providers including but not limited to lawyers, medical consultants, therapists, and academic professors. Celebrities, bloggers, influencers, and popular YouTubers can also share their profiles to monetize contact with their audience.
What tips would you give to others looking to build their business?
Create a vision for which people will want to follow. If your product/idea solves a real problem and you can convince people to it you will be one step ahead of the competition.
Tell us about your team
Our team consists of experts in the software development industry. We are capable of building the project from scratch and overcoming blockchain scaling issues in the future. Our founder, Greg Kucmierz, is also an expert in blockchain technology. He discovered Bitcoin mining and development in 2012. Our second founder, Kamil Przeorski has been involved with blockchain technology since 2013
Because we are already an experienced development team, most of the app development will be considerably cheaper an if we had to hire a team of developers to do it. Our founders and team are almost entirely technical people. In addition to this, we assure strong marketing efforts so that the product is well known in the blockchain industry and beyond!
What are your plans for the future?
Our vision is to combine two worlds: decentralized instant payment technology with mass-market potential. Experty.io is a new type of platform that will promote blockchain on a global scale. At the same time our plan is to create the application as user friendly as possible, so it will be used by experts/influencers worldwide even if they are not familiar with crypto, thanks to FIAT gateway.
What are your favourite tech gadgets?
Smart watch – everything needed is on my hand.
What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?
Travel by rocket (proposed by Elon Musk, SpaceX) from city to city, or Hyperloop. Fast traveling would help us to be at every blockchain related conference, so we could promote Experty in more efficient way.
