Describe the company – the elevator pitch …
Creme Global is a data science company that helps global food and consumer products companies predict the impact of their products on consumers, by combining big data on populations and products with Predictive Intake Modelling technology.
Our software and models can precisely calculate the exposure of consumers to a single substance present in multiple products (food, consumer products) and that enters the body via different routes (inhalation, ingestion, dermal absorption). This helps companies to be more informed which in turn leads to safer and healthier products.

How are you different?
We use all the available data on consumer habits & practices, food composition, substance concentration in products, and market share data from around the world, in combination with our own predictive modelling software in order to produce accurate and reliable analyses that helps food companies and regulators make better decisions around consumer safety, health and wellbeing.
Why will the company / product do well?
The company is doing very well because it has a unique capability worldwide to curate data sets (from different sources and in different formats), build and run complex mathematical models, and develop bespoke software systems for clients, all using in-house expertise based here in Ireland.
Where are you based, how is the broadband?, How long will you stay there?
We were initially based on the main Trinity Campus and are now based in the Trinity Technology and Enterprise Campus on Grand Canal Dock. Our offices take up the entire 4th floor in the Tower Building (you are welcome to visit). It is a great location right in the heart of Silicon Docks and we have no plans to move anywhere else at the moment.
When was the company launched?
Creme Global was launched in 2005 as a Trinity College Dublin spin-out company, the research that underpins the company started as an FP 5 EU funded project in 1999 (called Monte Carlo) which our CEO, Cronan McNamara, worked on as project manager.
What have been your biggest wins to date?
Our biggest wins include being selected as the trusted predictive intake modelling partner for major regulators and food companies worldwide (US FDA, US DA, EFSA + the largest food and consumer products companies in the world), but also for large industry groups in the US and Europe.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?
We target organisations involved in researching, manufacturing or regulating food products and consumer products safer and healthier for consumers. Anyone with data sets that would benefit from predictive modelling in order to make better decisions in these sectors are of interest to us.

Creme Global has an incredibly talented team from various backgrounds including: data scientists, nutritionists, food safety experts, mathematical modellers, statisticians, bio-engineers, physicists, software developers, UX and UI designers, systems engineers, marketing, business development and operations.

The company is divided in 4 teams: a Food and Nutrition team (in charge of collecting, curating, and interpreting data), a Mathematical Modelling team (in charge of building our Expert Models), a Software team (in charge of combining the data and the models in user-friendly cloud-based applications), and a business/management team (in charge of Operations and Business Development).
What are you long term plans for your product / company?
The amount of data being generated around the world is growing rapidly, Creme Global is expanding its predictive modelling capabilities to address the needs of new sectors where there is a need for improved data analysis and modelling in order to extract insights and information from data that will help organisations to make better decisions.
What are your favourite tech gadgets? (reply by CEO Cronan McNamara @)
For me it has to be the Apple iPhone and Apple iPad, also the Tesla Model S (if that qualifies as a gadget).
I wish I could purchase an Apple Watch in the Republic of Ireland, but unfortunately they are not available here yet. Apple: with all your operations here, please set up an official Apple store in Ireland and start providing the Apple Watch here. Following that we would like Tesla Motors to set up a showroom and a network of Superchargers.
