Describe the company – the elevator pitch …
Commercial website and mobile application testing tools can be hugely expensive. CloudLoad.io is a low-cost and very user-friendly, load and performance testing platform. It uses the popular Apache JMeter™ open source software. Users upload JMeter testing scripts and then test sites and mobile applications right from the platform. Cloudload.io generates all the necessary reports and enables teams to collaborate and monitor, in real-time, transactions and tests.
How are you different?
Apart from being more affordable than similar tools, CloudLoad.io is available in 3 distinct deployments: 1) as Software as a Service (SaaS), 2) a standalone product that can be deployed behind a firewall (good for security depending organizations) and 3) it is offered as a white labeled product.
Furthermore, the feedback we received from our users is that they love the UI. Very intuitive and easy to use.

Why will the company / product do well?
Using the popular Apache JMeter™ as the foundation, we have an affordable and extendable performance testing platform that most developers and testing teams will know how to use. By focusing on usability we aim to become the default choice for the testing community.
Where are you based?
CloudLoad.io is headquartered in central London and embrace global connectivity to work with the best in their fields, at affordable rates – savings we pass on to our clients.
When was the company launched?
The company was created at the end of 2015. Early 2016 CloudLoad received advanced Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS) approval from HMRC and subsequent funding from Mercia Fund Management. On August 25, 2016 we launched our SaaS platform.

What are your favorite tech gadgets?
I love working with tech that offers modularized solutions to expedite development of Apps. Stripe and Ignite UI are two favorites.
What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?
An API to control AWS and Azure instances from a common command line interface. This would be a really useful thing to easily migrate between those cloud providers. We might even explore building it ourselves as we extend CloudLoad.io platform.
Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?
Why would someone invest in CloudLoad.io?
Good question. Glad you asked J The reason to invest in CloudLoad.io is because the market of media and commercial websites, and mobile apps, keeps on growing, yet there are still only a few companies who make testing and reporting easy. The early adoption of our solution by two reputable companies (KPMG and EE) shows we are on the right track and our team is clearly up to the task of scaling quickly.
