Describe the company

The CargoCoin platform links the physical world of trade and transport to the online crypto technologies. It is designed to attract a wide user base from a multi-billion dollars marketplace by introducing and implementing free online services. The CargoCoin platform users interaction in the services sections naturally delivers demand for the platform’s smart utilities. These smart utilities are facilitated through CargoCoin tokens. The aim of the platform is to bring maximum demand for CargoCoin tokens. Through demand for the tokens the CargoCoin ICO supporters receive added value.

CargoCoin is designed to be a smart contract, crypto currency platform, decentralising global trade and transport. The platform target is to facilitate and optimise the interaction amongst traders, freight forwarders, shipping lines, booking agents as well as all other parties involved in the international trade and transport of commodities and cargoes. The platform users experience outlines well-balanced ecosystem based on cutting edge crypto security and frictionless interaction.

CargoCoin objective is to provide a global marketplace environment and utilities for facilitation of trade, transport, exchange of documents and payment options at low cost in real time. The platform architecture is based on the principles of high level of security, transparency, traceability and accountability. It is set up in a way that the participants can take advantage of any part of it alone, or in combination with other sections. It can be used as a very simple platform or as a complex smart contract utility with various payment options. The link between physical trade and transport with online crypto technologies delivers the opportunity for implementation of a large scale project and allows for further expansion.

CargoCoin platform options provide infinite possibilities for added value to the users and the participants. All utilities on the platform operate with CargoCoins.  The ultimate aim is boosting demand and facilitating the usage of the tokens. CargoCoin Team interest is set in line with the interest of the ICO supporters!

How are you different?

There are a few other ICOs, that have passed or are upcoming in the same industry as our ICO, but none of the competing project has the scale that we are looking at. The competitive project are looking to partially solve a problem within the shipping or logistics industry, i.e. just create a blockchain Bill of Lading, or use blockchain for container shipments. CargoCoin has the vision to provide a full scale solution that will cover the whole supply chain cycle in the transport industry, starting with full implementation of the shipping industry and other types of transport to follow in order to create an intermodal blockchain platform plus manufacturers marketplace (in a similiar fashion to alibaba) and thus close the circle from goods manufacturing to the delivery to the door of the stores and thus consumers.

Why will you do well?

We will do well, because we have the most important factors to success within our project:
1. We have a great idea, that is not available on the market, that is solving a real world problem, which will save milions and milions to businesses worldwide
2. We have a great team, that are experts in their relevant field, mainly the IT & blockchain and the transport industry
3. We have the will and vision to do it.
]
Where are you based?

Our headquarters are in London, UK, but our team of international participants and advisers is spread across the world. We try to attract people from different nationalities and backgrounds, who can provide us with a different insight.

When was the company launched:

The company was launched earlier this year and was registered specifically for this project and ICO. Our full time businesses in the IT and shipping industry have been operating since mid 90s.

What have you been your biggest wins to date:

In regards to the project we managed to gather a great team of positive people, who believe in the project and are putting their effort in making it happen. We believe that people and knowledge are our greatest assets of value.

Who are you trying to attract to your product:

We are trying to attract ordinary people, who would like to invest in a project with a great potential. We are not looking at big investment fund players, as we want to give a chance to ordinary people to make a big return on their money too.

What tips would you give to others looking to build their business

I would advise them to not give up – like never! Consistency is really important and pays out in long term, even though it might be demotivating in a short run.

The second most important thing for any business are the fine details. Pay attention to every little things, because it all counts – from the letter head or business cards design, through your website and your products or services. Make everything as if you are a huge empire, not a small business.

The third most important thing is that you have offer a service or product that solves a customer need. If your product or service, does not solve a problem, then it is most likely going to fail, regardless of how much time, effort and money you spent on marketing. It will fail in a long run.

Tell us about your team?

The founding members of the team are Bogomil Alexandrov and Martin Iliev. We both met and studied together at St. Edmund’s College in Ware, Herts back in the 90s.

Bogomil graduated in Finance and International Trade at the University of Portsmouth and have been involved with the IT sector since very early age. Have always been interested in programming and have gone the whole range of programming languages, starting with Basic and Pascal in the beginning, moving on to x86 assembly language, C/C++, Visual Basic and Delphi and ending up on the LAMP stack. Bogomil has a great interest in both software development and finance and trade and always likes opportunities when both areas meet in project for development of finance or business software applications. Bogomil has been interested in blockchain technologies for the past few years and have participated in a project that developed one of the first ASIC miners on the market.

Martin graduated in Economics and Business Finance at Brunel University, London and have worked in the shipping industry since, owning a chartering company that operates worldwide. Martin also did Masters (MBA) at the Cardiff Metropolitan University in Wales. Martin has had his interest in the sea since early age, when he was actively participating in sail competitions and was part of Brunel’s yacht team. This interest naturally transformed and he evolved his interests within the family chartering company and for the past few years Martin has been the CEO of the company and is presently a ship owner too.

The rest of the team consists of people from various backgrounds and nationalities, but we have tried to gather people who are involved in the shipping and logistics industry, people from IT and blockchain, financial specialists and others, such as administrative staff.

What are your plans for the future?

Upon successfully completing the initial coin offering and raising the necessary funds, we aim no less than to become worldwide market leader in regards to transport & logistics and their application in terms of software platforms and blockchain. This may say to ambitious, but actually we do have the capacity, the knowledge and vision to do it. All we lack is the serious funding needed to accomplish this goal.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

My personal favourite tech gadget of course is my cell phone. I like Android phones and smart phones and have been using smart phones since the first one was out – the Ericsson R380. I like cutting edge phone and gadget, while at the same time I’m a passionate collecter of retro computers from the 80s and have gathered a small room full of them, featured on a virtual museum website.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

Recently I became very interested in robotics and single board computers, such as Raspberry PI and the other alternatives that keep on popping out. I wish I could find the free time to dig more into robotics and robot development and would like to get various kits in this field.

Anything else?

I really hope to turn CargoCoin into a huge success and believe in the project. My main driving force in life is to create new and interesting projects that solve problems of people. I would like to dedicate a substantial part of my time and efforts into making CargoCoin a worldwide success and leader on the market for people to use freely and take advantage of the benefits of the blockchain technology.
