Describe the company – the elevator pitch …

Blue Mountain is a media management and marketing company focused on delivering a completely bespoke service akin to that of a fully staffed marketing department.

Large companies across the globe are already using online media to it’s full potential; ; our aim is to deliver a the same service using industry techniques, to produce equivalent results, but at a fraction of the cost.

How are you different?

Our main focus is your success – we offer a completely bespoke and personal service, ensuring that you’re getting the best value for your money. Our competitors offer packages similar to ours, however their prices are drastically higher, and many will not offer the same personal approach we do.

We work with small businesses in mind, and our prices reflect that. Our competitors offer packages at around £1200 per month – we’re here to offer the same service from just £150.

Why will the company / product do well?

We believe our company will do well because we offer an incredible service at a price lower than our competitors, without sacrificing any time, care, or attention. We will pair each company company with it’s own personal social media strategist, to ensure they have everything they need to build a powerful network, because their success is our success.

Where are you based?

We’re currently based in the South East of England, and while we do work with local businesses, we also work with companies across the globe.

When was the company launched?

We launched officially in October 2016, but the foundations were laid long before that.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

 Our biggest success thus far came from an surprising source within our first month of operation, we secured a contract with a fortune 500 company. Despite not marketing our services towards that demographic, they clearly saw the value in the services we provide, giving us further confidence in our product.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

Our primary target market is small to medium sized businesses who are looking to increase their revenue.

Tell us about your team?

The team currently consists of the two co-founders. Jon is a social media strategist with a background in business, finance and investing – having worked with several businesses before setting roots with Blue Mountain Media. Bradley is a graphic designer, social media specialist and private investor with a strong background in the industry.

Together, we work closely with a team of trusted social media experts to deliver the bespoke service our clients love.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

Having already experienced unprecedented success within our first few months of operation, we are extremely confident in Blue Mountain Media, and within the next ten years we foresee ourselves having multiple hubs across the UK and abroad in order to deliver the same personal, bespoke service our clients have come to know and love.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

Jon; My Iphone 7+ is a tool I ritually use. I love the organisational tools it gives me – and it helps me keep track of important meetings and deadlines I otherwise may miss! It also allows for perfect integration with my Smart Home devices – which leads me to my second favourite tech gadget – Philips Hue Smart Lights.

Bradley; I couldn’t be without my MacBook Pro; it’s an extremely powerful machine and perfect for on the go work, I also love the connectivity and fluidity between all my Apple devices – it makes managing work flow so much easier.

Outside of work – I love the Amazon Echo. It’s the best tool for smart home integration; although with that being said I can’t wait to get my hands on “Google Home”.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?

Bradley; Personally, I’ve been trying to justify the case to hook up the office with a Wacom Cintiq 27QHD – it’s a brilliant tool for designers, especially if you like to work with hand-drawn elements.

Jon: I’d love a way to connect and communicate with non-local clients on a personal level. Think Skype meets VR. When a similar system is invented, not only would it revolutionise business as a whole, but it would be the perfect accompaniment for delivering the personal touch we pride ourselves on.
