You already can choose from 45000 vehicles available for reservation in 110 cities in 40 countries. Bike rental in Barcelona, motorcycle rental in Milano – we can offer everything from carbon road bikes to Harley-Davidson’s.

How are you different?
We are offering absolutely new service for travellers, instead of car rental you can rent a bike or scooter on any resort of the world and enjoy your holiday in an eco-friendly manner. Websites of rental companies are not very well developed and sometimes without online booking function – we help both customers and rental companies. Customer can easily find, compare and book a bike online and don’t spend time on emails with rental company. For rental companies it’s a possibility to find new customers which never considered to rent a motorcycle or small scooter instead of the car.
Why will the company/product do well?
There are a lot of car rental booking websites, but we are the first who offers online reservation of all kinds of two-wheeled transport. Two-wheeled transport is gaining more and more popularity among travelers as an alternative to car rental. We are looking to change the way how people move around the city and sightseeing in their trips.

What have been your biggest wins to date?
We already have a good traction with 30000 monthly users and growing revenue. Revenue confirms our idea, so we will be able to rise a seed round soon and scale BikesBooking.com on new locations in US and South America.
What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?
Travellers from 18 to 65 years old who are willing to rent a bike during their vacation in hot countries or in big popular cities. Sometimes our customers don’t know about alternatives to car rental, so it’s still a lot of work to be done with promotion of bike and scooter rental online.
Tell us about your team?
BikesBooking have two Co-Founders – Anton Shreider (CEO) and Tatiana Skorniakova (CMO). We both had experience in marketing, e-commerce and b2c market. We also have 3 engineer in our team, but they are currently based in Russia.
We’ve created BikesBooking when we found it difficult to make a reservation of bike rental online, finally we came to the rental company office where nothing was available. We said that we should solve this problem and we’ve launched a first version of the website 3 weeks after. Then we confirmed the demand and now we are trying to confirm that it can be a big business.

What are your long term plans for your product/company?
We want to create “Expedia for bikes”. Tours and activities are going to online fast. Viator and GetYourGuide did a good job, however, automation on this market is still low. We think in terms of 2-3 years we will see a huge growth on this market.
What are your favourite tech gadgets?
I love to make videos using drones in my trips.
What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?
I’m really looking forward when brain-computer interface will become mainstream, so it will become not necessary to click and type, you will be able to control your computer by power of thought.
