Business Showcase: aXpire, a Blockchain FinTech company

Describe the company
aXpire is a blockchain FinTech company; specifically, we offer fund formation/administration, expense management and payment solutions for asset managers. We also have a freelancing tool that allows us to accept our native token, AXPR, for all services rendered to our clients.

How are you different?

We have a number of advantages against larger software providers: we offer custom software development as a service, we price using a SaaS model (read: flat fee, per user, per month) and we can also accept cryptocurrency as payment.

Why will you do well?
We have a foot in both the cryptoasset world and the traditional asset management world, bridging the gap between the two. We will do well because we are one of the few providers with people with a background in both areas, and we can be extremely flexible for our clients. For example, we could create custom software even for another financial administrator that is missing part of their software suite. We could even accept cryptocurrency (BTC/ETH/BCH/AXPR) for that work and keep payments as a low, flat fee. This difference doesn’t even touch on our team. We have 12 years of experience with another invoice management company, called LSG, which aXpire was spun out of at exit.

Where are you based?

New York

When was the company launched?

January 2017

What have been your biggest wins to date?

Establishing a $24 billion hedge fund as a client (custom software + Resolvr), featuring on high caliber news outlets (Forbes/CNBC/Entrepreneur) and growing our team.

Who are you trying to attract to your product?

Anyone that needs custom software made, any type of asset manager looking to become more profitable and/or anyone looking to invest in blockchain.

What tips would you give to others looking to build their business?

Stay flexible in your offering, and aim for quality people and products. It’s more expensive, but cheap goods are quickly commoditized, and low quality people cost you more than just your time.

Tell us about your team?
The team is a mix of serial software entrepreneurs from a prior venture, LSG, and individuals with a background in asset management (Morgan Stanley) and startups.

What are your plans for the future?
We are looking to establish ourselves as a thought leader with institutional quality investors who are looking to learn into blockchain. We want to offer funds that can then be managed with our software too, and create a quality ecosystem from start to finish. We still want to be flexible, and want to add some diversity to our software development database.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?
We have fallen in love with artificial intelligence, specifically machine learning. That has made the value add we provide in our products and in the products we build for clients that much greater. It sounds scarier than it is. In Resolvr, for example, it’s as simple as providing a score on an invoice for the asset manager’s mid- and back-office to use as a gauge for whether than invoice should be approved and paid or not. It reduces the time spent from each invoice from ~30 minutes to only a few minutes; that adds up quickly, and we’ve already got results should 40%+ improvements in company cost and time.

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?
I wish we had quantum computing, then we could build some really powerful tools, but we shall have to wait like everyone else! We are blessed to be an early adopter of blockchain, and can see the power that even a secure database can have.

Anything else you’d like to add/we should have asked?

We’d love to meet anyone interested in us at our family office events in New York and Miami. Check out www.familyofficenetworks.com and, https://familyoffices.com/ for where we’ll announce our events. For example:https://familyofficenetworks.com/fonevents/family-offices-investing-in-blockchain-technologies/

How do people get in touch with you?
For general inquiries, email info@axpire.com and we will be in touch! If you think you may need any of our existing software products, creation of custom software for your business or help with fundraising, email dm@axpire.com with subject line: aXpire Business Development.
