How are you different?
Other curation / content aggregation tools either start you with an empty feed, or you have to choose from fixed sources you can’t adjust. And usually you’re on your own. But we’re all too busy to find specific content, and too unique to settle for generic newsfeeds when we need content relevant to our sectors, clients and interests. We’re different because everyone’s needs for content are different, and we designed Anders Pink to reflect that:

Why will the company / product do well?
We think we solve a problem that everyone faces: we all want to stay smart and up to date, but we’re overwhelmed with irrelevant content. We’ve designed Anders Pink with continuous learning and better filtering in mind. Smart consumers and curators of content need control over their sources to ensure more signal and less noise. We think we’ve got an unrivalled level of control, a huge amount of sources we track every day, combined with an API that lets you export our data feeds and embed in other tools and apps – CRMs, Sites, Intranets, Learning Platforms – anywhere you want.

Dublin and Brighton.
When was the company launched?
2015, we launched the app in beta in Late 2016. We’re coming out of beta and launching on May 2nd.

We’re just coming out of beta, but our clients already include several FTSE 100 companies in the Telco, Learning and Consultancy sectors and many more globally. Over 10 Learning Platforms now use Anders Pink APIs to provide trending content for their end clients.

Tell us about your team?
We’re passionate about helping people with better content. We have experience building and scaling learning and content technology companies. We co-founded Kineo, which became the global elearning leader and sold to City & Guilds. We co-founded BuzzSumo, a SaaS content marketing product with over 300,000 users.
What are you long term plans for your product/company?
Our modest goal is to reach and support all of the professional teams who need daily updates of content to help them stay informed with less effort. We’ll constantly refine our algorithm to add more intelligent recommendations, and integrate with a wide variety of platforms to bring you relevant content in any channel.
What are your favourite tech gadgets?

What tech gadgets do you wish you could use to help you?
We’re always looking for better apps to help us communicate and uncover content. We’ll try any AI out there, it’s a fascinating field that’s helping us to automate more every day.
Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?
We think there’s a bigger mission with content curation: fighting fake news and cracking the echo chamber. We all get biased and fake news in our feeds. We want to fix that by giving you control over your sources – you should choose where you get news from. At the same time, it’s so important not to only see content from like minded people and sources you agree with. We need diversity in our social networks and feeds. By letting you choose from a range of balanced sources, we try to help you keep an open mind too.
