In a world rapidly hurtling towards a gig economy, remote working and digital nomad lifestyles this book is very much positioning itself in the right space. It is practical, logical and sequential in the concepts it explores and walks you through. There is a lot of good, common sense delivered here. For our taste we would have liked a little more on how to differentiate yourself and create a strong and unique presence online, but in every other way this book is a solid, useful and well considered guide.

As more and more people are being nudged towards self employment it makes sense to do that you can to prepare for this possibility, and there are a lot of upsides to it as well. Not having to answer to a boss, or make a pointless commute to somewhere else, deal with trivial office politics, drink bad coffee, what’s not to like.
