About ConsenSys Grants Programme

ConsenSys Grants were set up to fund projects that are building the foundational infrastructure, tools and components required to improve the developer and user experience of Ethereum. This three-day event which ran from Friday to Sunday at ConsenSys’ Ireland HQ in Ringsend, offered participants the mentoring to develop an application project under one of the following tracks: Education and Technical Knowledge, Social Impact, Security, Usability and Developer Tooling and Infrastructure Development.

Teams now also have the opportunity post Hackathon to submit their ideas they have worked on into the ConsenSys Grants Programme. Throughout 2019 ConsenSys will give away $550,000 worth of grants dispersed in amounts of $10,000 and $25,000 via GitCoin, a community-driven tool that allows grantees to receive a stream of payments subject to successful milestones being met.
