Blockchain eliminates the middleman, Max Ng, Cryptoprofile

What is your background briefly?

I graduated from engineering, but I went into retail for 9 years and worked my way from being ground level staff up to management level. That gave me the experience needed to understand how a business should be run. My final position was as brand manager but I chose to quit my job and go into investment because I realised that if I didn’t invest I would never escape the rat race!

Does it seem like a logical background to what you do now?

I think my background in investment is very logical to my involvement in crypto now. 2 years ago I told everyone about cryptocurrency and no one believed that it would take off, but recently many have come back to me and asked about it. Even my son who is 6 year old knows about bitcoin now.

1 min pitch for what you are doing now?

While waiting for a new look on my website, I am currently building an organic community which I want to be as big as possible by educating people who are new to crypto. Even projects launching ICO’s, they have no clue what they are doing and they feel that having a successful ICO is as easy as the year 2017. One good example is crypto+mlm project. I was trying to launch my own project and it was delayed because many project ICO’s had issues marketing their project after Facebook, Google, Twitter, Snapchat and mailchimp banned advertising on crypto and blockchain related stuff. Friends asked me for help and now I am flooded with projects. But I’ll only take on projects after I’ve read through their whitepapers and I’m okay with them.

Why did you get involved with ICOs and communications in general?

Our communications started from whatsapp where I acted as a “fund manager” to help trade and buy ICO for people who are new. That was during the year 2017. Currently our communications are on private Whatsapp groups, closed Facebook and Twitter groups, as well as on Telegram.

Why do you think they are such a powerful idea?

Blockchain eliminates the middleman. The transactions cannot be reversed and aren’t hackable. What could be better. It’s decentralized as well. It is another opportunity for SME companies to get crowdfunding in another easier way. But take note that in the year 2018, they will need an MVP.

Why is Singapore a great place to do business?

Singapore is a small city. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) are quite positive with blockchain related stuff ass long as we self-regulate. Any event, you are bound to see familiar faces as well. It’s a small clean city with a lot of honest people and there are some co-working spaces where you will see that some project offices are all there, like small crypto-hubs.

How can people find out more about you & your work?

They can visit my website cryptoprofile.com or telegram

Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?

Technical Analysis doesn’t work on alt coins. so never chase a speeding train as you are sure to fall and hurt yourself. Take crypto as a lottery and only gamble what you can afford to lose. Technology is here to stay. There will be no currency that can replace bitcoin, because all the crypto prices are pegged to btc prices.

How can people contact you & learn more about you?
