If you’re using BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) make sure you back up your contacts/groups.
This can be done by backing up to your email address (any email address linked to your BIS) or locally to the phone memory of micro SD card.
To back up, open BBM, press menu, select options and choose back up, then choose via email or locally.
If you need to restore your BBM contacts/groups later then instead of choosing back up from your menu choose restore.
