BizTweet to integrate with leading social media messaging app

BizTweet, one of the leading social decision software providers, has announced it will expand its innovative Twitter tool to leading social platform, Facebook.

Yesterday it was rolled out at London City Airport, and it will be the world’s first airport to use the BizTweet technology to communicate to passengers via Facebook Messenger. The Airport (@LCYFlightInfo) is the global leader for passenger communication via Twitter, serving thousands of customers with real-time personalised flight information every month. And thanks to the new integration, it will be able to expand its offering tenfold.

Speaking about BizTweet’s market-leading innovation, Paul Brugger, Founder and C.E.O. of TIC, said, “Consumers demand much more from businesses than they ever have before. No longer do SMS messages or emails suffice, they want information on the go, there and then. And the BizTweet platform has successfully plugged the gap between generic information and physically speaking to a person. By combining two of the leading social media platforms, the BizTweet software will be able to reach more people than ever before.”

BizTweet’s intelligent software uses both flight and individual social data to decide on the content of the communication. Messages can be tailored based on data such as gender and age, making it simple for airports to automate their passenger communications and tone of voice. By providing the service on multiple social media platforms, it will give real added value and ensure that everyone can reap the benefits of the intelligent service.

Passengers ready to jet off from the Airport can register for the service by visiting the London City Airport website: www.londoncityairport.com and finding their flight. From there they can click on the Twitter or Facebook Messenger icon. Alternatively, on the day of departure, they can send their tweet or messenger their flight number to the Airport’s Twitter or Facebook accounts: www.twitter.com/LCYFlightInfo or www.facebook.com/LCYFlightInfo. Once registered, they will receive real-time flight information direct to their device.
