Today is an important day for households all over the country as the leaving cert results are announced, so what should you do if you don’t get the marks you expected? I talk to Ben Rowland the co-founder of Arch apprentices who gives career advice to students. Ben tells me what students should do if they don’t get the marks for the course they were hoping to do, the pressure that parents and teachers put on students, what are the most popular courses that students are choosing. Ben also talks about traditional apprentices what are the more modern roles that are now available ie media and cyber/tech related, figuring out what you are really good at and enjoy and how to make that into a career.
