3DEO has announced that it has been selected by Belfast Harbour, Northern Ireland’s largest port, to supply 3D visualisation and analytic tooling. 3DEO’s platform will allow Belfast Harbour to rapidly visualise and analyse the condition of the channel in 3D using survey data.

3DEO’s solutions rapidly combine both historical and real-time data into powerful yet easy-to-use decision making toolkits for diverse applications. These solutions are underpinned by a powerful cloud-based big data storage, analytics and processing engine, powered by Kx.

By delivering high-speed processing and Earth Observation applications and toolsets, 3DEO provides deeper insight into day-to-day commercial operations and support efficient planning and decision making.

Andrew MacPherson, CEO and Founder of 3DEO, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Belfast Harbour to enhance their survey capabilities. 3DEO’s solution is ideal for rapidly processing complex datasets and producing rich visualisation and analysis, making it a perfect fit for Belfast Harbour’s needs”

Trevor Anderson, Operation Director at Belfast Harbour commented: “Timely and accurate information is crucial to efficient commercial operations. We are delighted to be working with 3DEO to optimise the insights we derive from our survey data.”
