Bearingpoint Ramps Up Senior Leadership Team in Ireland as It Prepares to Recruit Over 100 New Hires

Management and technology consultancy BearingPoint has announced the appointment of two new Partners and two new Directors to its business in Ireland, as it now embarks on an ambitious recruitment drive to attract over 100 new hires over the coming 18 months.

These latest appointments see Directors  Claudia Carr and Gary Mullane internally promoted to become Partners at the Partner-led firm, while Marie Ryan is appointed Director in Software with Gerard Hayes becoming Director in Business Consulting.

Employing over 250 consultants in Ireland, BearingPoint has been enjoying double-digit growth in Ireland over the last three years, supporting many of Ireland’s largest organisations in the financial, digital services and public sector in particular. Coinciding with the announcement of these latest leadership appointments, BearingPoint is also embarking on an ambitious recruitment drive to grow its workforce in Ireland by a further 100 positions in the next 12 to 18 months.

The firm’s expansion is already underway, with the recruitment of 50 immediate vacancies representing job opportunities right across the business and at all levels, from graduates right up to senior leaders.

Among the roles that BearingPoint is currently hiring for are: Product Owner, Business Process Analyst, Change Manager, Strategy Consultant, Service Delivery Manager, Software Tester, Software Developer, Data and Analytics Manager, Enterprise Architect, Technology Advisor, Database Administrator and a Finance & Risk Manager.

Commenting on the firm’s latest appointments and recruitment plans, Gillian O’Sullivan, Country Leader for BearingPoint Ireland said: “Today’s announcement underlines the firm’s ongoing success and growth ambition as defined in our strategy 2025: putting people in the centre, outperforming the market every year and being in the top three in our chosen areas of expertise.”

All of them have reached this important milestone based on their exceptional abilities, deep industry expertise and outstanding commitment to serving our clients.”

In her new role as Partner, Claudia Carr will lead BearingPoint Ireland’s People & Strategy Practice, having joined BearingPoint in 2005. A key part of her role will be focused on challenges facing organisations in the years to come, covering sustainability, people development for the modern workplace, business transformation and management.

Gary Mullane joined BearingPoint in 2002 and now becomes a Partner with responsibility for both BearingPoint’s Insurance Consulting Services and is also Head of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence across all industry sectors.

Gerard Hayes now becomes Director, Business Consulting and will lead BearingPoint’s services related to the delivery of transformation programmes, operational and process excellence and workforce planning.

Marie Ryan, who will become Director of Software will continue to expand BearingPoint’s software team and deliver innovative high-quality solutions to new and existing clients.
