Variety Ireland in association and hosted by Be Kingdom Kind, has announced that they will be holding the Inaugural Variety Children’s Awards, 2024 at The Westbury Hotel, Dublin on Sunday 7th April 2024.
The Variety Children’s Awards 2024 will be an afternoon of celebrations where they will recognise and pay tribute to special children and individuals for their bravery, inspiration and kindness shown towards helping improve the lives of children with disabilities here in Ireland.
As a registered Irish charity that celebrates over 70 years helping children with disabilities and from disadvantaged backgrounds in Ireland, Variety continues to ensure to promote inclusion and equality for all children living on the island of Ireland.
Initiatives like the Recycle Mobility Programme, supported by Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth and Department of The Transport, ensures that children with mobility issues have equal access to cycling with their family and friends.
The Heart of Learning Programme allows the charity to provide upcycled digital tablets to children with learning or communication difficulties in their home or in national schools across Ireland.
In recent years this has provided extremely successful in helping children arriving from the Ukraine in breaking down language barriers and learning in the classroom.

Be Kingdom Kind, which will take place in The Westbury Hotel, Dublin on Sunday 7th April 2024.
This all-ticket event ceremony will see a host of awards being presented in different categories which include:
This award will be given to a child who has shown outstanding courage and bravery in overcoming and dealing with physical or medical issues in their life.
This award will be given to a child with a disability who continues to inspire and bring joy to others around them on a daily basis.
This award is given to a child with disabilities who has made a vital contribution to society through kind acts which benefits the environment and other children.
This award goes to a child or school who promote inclusion and equality for their pupils with the use of digital learning equipment provided to them through our Heart of Learning Programme.
This award is given to people or groups in the community who champion projects that support and promote inclusion for children with disabilities across the island of Ireland.
This award will be presented to an individual who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, dedication, and impact through their volunteer efforts at a national level to help children with disabilities.
This award is in recognition to individuals for their own outstanding contribution that has impacted the lives of children with disabilities in Ireland.
This award goes to an individual special school in Ireland as recognition for outstanding academic performance, leadership qualities, extracurricular involvement, in helping students with disabilities within their own school.
This award honors a child or person(s) that inspires unconditional and selfless kindness among their community. Shine a light on someone in your family or community whose selfless acts, or generosity large or small make children’s lives a little brighter.
