Augmented reality in surgery and medicine, some amazing images

Kavin Andi @kavinandi possibly stole the show at the Augmented Reality Marketing conference with his presentation. He is a surgeon at St George’s Hospital London and uses Augmented Reality to help in facial reconstructions of his patients. Here is an example of how he uses AR to identify the shape and size of a cancerous area. Then they model the impact on the rest of the face, and where it will need to be reconstructed.
