The most important change in data privacy regulation in the last 20 years comes into effect in May 2018. The European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) directive is a comprehensive and strict framework that carries heavy financial penalties for non-compliance.

Event hosts Arkphire and Veritas will outline the key steps that businesses will need to take from a legal and IT perspective before implementing and executing their GDPR strategy.

Speakers include:

  • John O’Connor, Partner William Fry Solicitors and Chair of the Irish Government Data Forum
  • David Mosely, GDPR Global Lead
  • Tamzin Evershed, Legal Director and Data Privacy Expert
  • Eoin Johnston, Chief Technical Architect, Arkphire
