Anker has sent us a number of products to take a look at, and the first up for review is this interesting high-capacity power bank.

Design and Build
The power bank feels good in the hand. The materials used are high quality. The finish is smooth, and the corners are rounded, so it is easy to hold. Even at 595g, it feels quite light for such a high-capacity power bank.
As you look around the device, the front of the device has a small screen for information. The right hand side has a button which activates that screen and can be used for toggling through the different screens available.
On the same side, there is a USB-C port which can both charge and be used for charging the device, and a USB-A port.
The top and left-hand side have the power bank’s unique features, which are two built-in USB-C cables. The one on the left is made from a durable material and can be clipped into a wrist strap shape for carrying the power bank. The other one on the top face uses a retractable cable design, which allows you to pull the cable out to use and then retract it back into the body of the device when you are finished.
At first, it seems strange to have two cables coming from the device, but you quickly get used to it and having two built-in cables is really useful.
Day-to-Day Use
The first thing we noticed with this Anker power bank was how quickly it can be charged and how cool it stays while charging. Generally, with large power capacity power banks such as this that can accept fast charging, a lot of heat is generated. This power bank stayed cool to the touch, even when being charged at 100 watts.
The screen on the front shows useful information when the device is charging something else or being charged itself, and can be used to check the battery percentage outside of that. While charging, the first screen shows what percentage the battery is at, what speed it is charging at and how long is left until it is fully charged.
One press of the button brings you to a screen which has an overview of what is happening with each port. The next screen shows you the temperature the battery is operating at, and the final shows the battery health and cycle count.
When you are charging another device, the screens are largely the same, but the first screen shows the power you’re outputting rather than receiving.
While travelling or staying overnight in a hotel, I have found the Anker power bank really excels when you want to top up your laptop and phone when you sit down after a long day. It is really simple to take out the battery and charge both devices, and you are not tied to a wall with a charger. Likewise, when you are on the go at events or caught up in meetings, having the built-in cable and available power and capacity makes life simple.
While the device is capable of charging just about anything, large or small, its larger size makes it ideal for a backpack carry-on luggage, and it is the type of device you will bring along when you know you are going to have a busy day.
In practical terms, the 25000mAh capacity meant that when I was at an event lately, I kept my MacBook Air and iPhone 17 Pro Max topped up all day, and when I got back to my hotel room, I used it to charge my watch. It meant that to keep 3 devices charged on the go, I only needed to bring a watch charger and the power bank, with no chargers or power cables required.
Around the home, the power bank is great for keeping tablets and phones charged, and the large capacity means it can fully charge several devices before needing to be recharged itself.
When it comes to recharging the power bank, it charges very quickly with an appropriate 100-watt charger. A complete 0 to 100% charge takes 1.7 hours, but you can add 30% in around 20 minutes. The power bank also supports pass-through charging if you are stuck and need to charge other devices while it is also being charged.
Conclusion
The Anker 25,000mAh Power Bank is a powerful device, capable of charging anything quickly, and it comes with two USB-C cables built in.
The device is well built and ideal for keeping multiple devices charged while you are on the go.
It makes charging your devices easy and reduces the number of chargers and cables you need to bring with you.
If you are in the market for a high-output, high-capacity power bank, the Anker 25,000mAh Power Bank is an easy recommendation.
