The latest version of Android, KitKat 4.4.3, has started rolling out to both the Nexus 5 and the Nexus 7 in Ireland. Promising bug fixes and improvements, the update weighs in at about 92MB in size.
Several battery draining bugs are supposed to have been addressed in this update. We’re busy installing it on our devices now and will test it over the next few days to see if this is the case. There is very little in the way of visual changes here other than to the dialer which has got a touch up so don’t be expecting anything earth shattering until we see the next major Android increment.
