Photo Opportunity: 70 people from Analog Devices’ three Irish sites will gather in Limerick for a Hackathon addressing Climate Action. They will work for two days straight with the aim of designing and pitching original and innovative solutions to mitigate the climate crisis using ADI technology and sustainable business mechanisms.
All taking place in Analog’s newly opened collaboration centre – Catalyst – in Raheen, Limerick.
Focusing on Climate Action
Brian Arthur Photography will be sending REPRO FREE images of the Hackathon to photodesks on Wednesday 4th May
More details: Hackathons are a powerful mechanism for encouraging experimentation and collaboration and creating one of those lightbulb moments.
This is the fifth year that ADI has run the Hackathon and it’s the second to explore Climate Change issues. Previously, a winning team designed an assisted-living solution to detect urinary tract infections in older people through a sensor placed in a toilet bowl. The concept has since been passed to ADI’s research and development garage in Boston.
