At Chainges you will meet Gabriele Rigo, CEO&Founder of RigoBlock. RigoBlock’s mission is to help organize assets in the tokenized world, and Gabriele will be talking about exponential growth of the number of tokens and the tokenized assets.

Tell us about what you are doing now?

Developing RigoBlock, which is a protocol for enabling users to create and run their own funds on Ethereum. Now that the word’s value is becoming tokenized, we are seeing the increase in the number of tokens, which can represent anything. We are there to help users organize their token holdings. With the advent of scams, tools for professional token management are particularly needed. We do not manage any assets, just provide the framework for users and marketplaces to operate. We aim at becoming the go-to-place for investment funds and creating a meritocratic environment for traders. We are a team of fund managers, accountants and developers with a cutting edge technological approach. Our product can be easily customized for banks, traders and managers as well as individual investors.

How was the last year, what worked well, what didn’t move as quickly as you would have liked?

2017 was a very important year for us, as protocols built on top of blockchains have started to emerge as basic pillars for the future architecture of decentralized applications. This worked very well in our case, as finally people start realizing that we are building one of the basic pillars of decentralized asset management and understand our product. The blockchain ecosystem evolved so quickly it is hard to find something that did not move as quickly as we wanted!

What are your plans for the future?  

Releasing our protocol on the Ethereum main network together with our ICO. Become the reference for decentralized asset management. Integrate our protocol with as many exchanges and marketplaces as possible.

What will you be talking about at this event?

The number of new tokens is increasing every day, the world’s value is becoming tokenized and we are seeing blockchain technology be applied in tokenizing more complex structures than pure tokens. We can expect almost everything of value will become tokenized within the next few years. Token holders need places and tools to organize and manage their assets, with a special care for security and ease of access.

What inspired you to attend it?

The event is focussed on quality content and speakers, as opposed to many other events which are more commercially oriented. We believe there is much scope for cooperation with the other blockchain projects, as, one pillar at the time, these applications will be at the basis of tomorrow’s financial world.
