With the industry at an inflection point, the Algorand community is building opportunity on its platform, which solves the “blockchain trilemma” by delivering decentralization, scalability and security.
Jason Weathersby has worked in developer relations for almost 20 years, most of which was dealing with open source projects. Those projects range from analytical tools to browsers. He has authored a book and many articles, as well as spoken at hundreds of conferences in his time as an Evangelist. Jason recently left Mozilla where he managed the Developer Relations team. The team focused primarily on Firefox and Mozilla’s emerging technology including WebAssembly, Rust and VR.
“I joined Algorand because I believe blockchain technology will help pave a better future and is very much needed in a world of centralized data control.
“In Dublin, I shall be talking about Algorand’s model for building consensus which is very unique and offers amazing potential. I will be discussing where we are in the development of the blockchain, including consensus, node configuration and management, and how developers can interact with the blockchain. I will also be discussing the product roadmap, command line tools, process architecture and will show many demos utilizing our worldwide TestNet blockchain.
