Adaptive named as a Leader in Gartner’s 2016 Magic Quadrant for Metadata Management Solutions.

Adaptive Inc., the Metadata Management platform company, has announced that Gartner, in their inaugural Magic Quadrant report on Metadata Management Solutions, has named Adaptive as a Leader.

Adaptive’s flagship product, Adaptive Metadata Manager™ helps organizations solve complex information management challenges by providing a resilient platform that can assure Data Governance, Business Intelligence Reporting as well as Regulatory Compliance programs across large enterprises. Adaptive’s metadata repository technology is trusted in blue-chip organizations in many industry sectors, notably in global financial services, as well as providing third-party consulting partners with a set of capabilities they can leverage in their own solutions.

According to the Gartner report:

“The growing need for organizations to treat information as an asset is making metadata management strategic, driving significant growth for metadata management solutions” and

“Leaders in metadata management solutions are front-runners with an offering that supports the full range of metadata management capabilities. They exhibit a clear understanding and vision of where the market is headed, and are strong in matching customers’ requirements in a variety of use cases. They support both business and technical metadata scenarios, leveraging strategic partnerships to optimize the delivery of their solutions. These vendors establish market trends (to a large degree) by providing new functional capabilities in their products, and by identifying new types of business problem to which they can bring significant value. Leaders have an established and/or fast-growing market presence, and a multinational presence.”

Adaptive CEO, Jeff Goins, comments: “We are delighted to receive this recognition from Gartner.” Goins further notes: “Based on our vision of building and providing an extensible platform we know that clients gain the ability to solve many information management problems with one investment in Adaptive.”

Adaptive Metadata Manager Release 7.1 combines the use of actionable dashboards, reports and social capabilities to allow all stakeholders to collaborate on their data definitions, alignment and reporting processes. Adaptive has also introduced new capabilities in R7.1 to facilitate Big Data technologies and frameworks, thereby further expanding the solution reach across both Small and Big Data.
