Accenture announces 250 new jobs

Accenture will create more than 450 new jobs in Ireland by the end of its fiscal year, Aug 31, 2016 it announced today. This includes 250 jobs for the Irish business in addition to the 200 announced in September 2015 for the new Centre for Innovation in Dublin. The new positions will span a wide range of skills and capabilities and offer opportunities for candidates from experienced executives to entry level, including graduates. Today’s announcement will bring the Accenture headcount in Ireland to over 2250.

Accenture’s additional recruitment drive is focused primarily on professionals who offer:

· Technology, digital and analytical skills – including developers, data scientists and specialists in areas such as advanced analytics, visual analytics, big data, data integration, Sales Force and Oracle.

· Industry expertise – across areas including Financial Services, Natural Resources and Communications, Media & Entertainment.

· Digital marketing operations skills – in online advertising operations, multilingual customer service, user experience and social media.

The 250 new roles are in addition to the 200 roles that will be created in the Accenture Centre for Innovation, which was announced in September 2015 and which is recruiting for developers as well as industry experts and designers with expertise in analytics, life sciences, digital marketing, artificial intelligence, public safety and strategy.
