GlobalStart is excited to announce the launch of its new initiative, Amariyo Ventures. Its mission is to encourage development, commercialization, and entrepreneurship that solve global challenges in the new era of COVID-19 by providing early-stage startups with healthy, digital culture methodology, access to mentors, training, capital, and remote working operational resources. Continuing in our commitment to sustainability, technology scouting, and innovation, we have decided to implement a decisive initiative.

In light of the COVID-19 global effect, GlobalStart announces Amariyo Ventures, a unique and innovative Startups Accelerator. Challenging as it may be, we trust that the current economic condition is the right time to implement a growth catalyst for a sustainable and safer future. We are going to bring together ambitious technology ventures, corporations, and investors, impacting our world for the better.

Amariyo Ventures is committed to unlocking value by building a vibrant, healthy, diverse and inclusive global remote-working community through entrepreneurship and advanced technologies. We believe that this initiative is relevant more than ever before. Keeping the flow of new technologies and innovation is critical and needs to be supported. Yet, it is evident that there is going to be a long recession and recovery won’t happen overnight.

Speaking with Meir Amarin he provided the following clarifications ->

The investment comes in ways of a management advisory board, strategic business development assistance and access to potential investors. Together with our partners and supporters, we will offer a package of essential tools/platforms.  For example “AWS Active” will provide our portfolio startups with a package that offers up to $100,000 USD in AWS Activate Credits, 24×7 technical support, and training benefits.  Hubspot is offering masterclasses, training, and 24/7 support to get our startup acquiring and retaining more customers, faster. They also offer a startup-friendly price for their platform, up to 90% off.

We take 5% in equity from the stratus we select/scout plus 10% (revenue sharing model) from any strategic deal we assist to create during one year from cooperation day. We also chare 5000 Euro in case of a successful, 3rd party investment.

In relation to the UN SDGs he outlined their involvments ->

Sustainability and SDGs: We support the following SDGs: 6.7.11 &.12

(6) Ensure access to water and sanitation for all: We are tracking, managing and implementing water solutions. We are looking for / scouting ventures that offering new technologies/solutions in this area.

(7) Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and clean energy: We are very aware and constantly looking for ways to minimize our carbon footprints. We are looking for startups developing solutions that support the vision of a clean energy future.

(11) Make cities inclusive, safe and sustainable: We are looking for “smart city” enablers, potential solutions to achieve sustainable urbanization,

(12) Sustainable consumption and production: We are looking for startups offering smart energy efficiency and sustainable infrastructure solutions. We are looking at Industry 4.0 sector and its related technologies (Internet of Things, big data analytics, and other verticals) with potential impact on sustainability and the environment.

We plan to start working with the first startups on June 1st, the latest.
