Blockchain Ireland Week, Masterclass event, May 29th
By Sharif Bouktila, CEO of EOS Dublin
When and where is it on?
Inaugural masterclass on crowdfunding held in Dogpatch Labs on Wednesday from 3,30pm until 6pm, it will be one of the highlights of Blockchain Ireland Week
How many years has it been going?
EOS Dublin has been live since June 2018 – we are a block producer for the EOS blockchain mainnet (like a miner only nicer)
What was the inspiration to start it?
We looked at all the emerging blockchains and believe strongly that the EOS blockchain is ahead of its competitors due to speed (it’s very fast) and cost (no transaction fees)
What exciting things can people look forward to?
The masterclass will look in detail at the statistics behind more than 10,000 ICOs and then we will deep dive into the people, the teams and the experiences. Then we get to hear about the legals.
What opportunities are on offer for those attending?
Exclusive networking at this event during Blockchain Ireland Week
Who will be speaking?
Christopher O’Reilly Arthur Cox, and Michael O’Sullivan, CEO of http://blockchainvheel.com/ and Simon Cocking, editor in chief of ITN, business mentor and advisor working with over 200 successful companies to date, and has been named on many global Twitter influencer lists in the last 12 months.
What tips would you give to people attending to get the most out of it?
Bring your business cards
How can people book tickets / when does it usually sell out?
Exclusive opportunity to hear experts in the space of fundraising for blockchain projects. You will hear from Michael O’Sullivan, data scientist with http://blockchainvheel.com/ who has collectedand analysed data from over 10,000 ICOs followed by editor Simon Cocking, the number one expert on ICO Bench and advisory to some of the most successul ICOs (and some of forgotten ones).
From stats to first hand knowledge of what went on behind the scenes, this is one exclusive masterclass not to miss.
Anything else you’d like to add / we should have asked?
Enjoy and follow on with a Pints and Blocks meetup
Pints & Blocks is a grassroots movement to bring together builders and do’ers in the blockchain space. Meet like minded people over a pint and talk about blockchain.
So far there has been Pints & Blocks in London, Vienna, Amsterdam, Niarobi, Hong Kong and many more. Next Stop is a Dublin Pub Crawl for Irish Blockchain Week! Your eventbrite ticket gets you a free pint!
