www.Daylui.com is a rental marketplace connecting people who have something to lease, with people who are looking for something to rent.

It can be anything a motorhome, boat, bicycle, GoPro camera, gaming console – anything that you don’t find yourself needing on a daily basis.

How are you different?

We understand the importance of design, and apply latest technologies to make best user experience. Also, we took best practices from well known marketplaces and applied it to our website. (Airbnb, Ebay, Amazon, etc)

We are one stop shop rental marketplace, where users are able to find more rental offers than on any other marketplace. They can hire cars, boats, motorhomes, drones, Cameras, Consoles, Virtual reality, tools and many more.

Also people and companies can lease all their equipment in one place, whether it’s a car, bicycle or a camera. It’s easier to use one website to find great rentals and lease your items.

Our deposit system offers additional security for customers willing to lease their items lowering the risks of damage and non-return.

Why will the company / product do well?

Nowadays people are renting more things than they did in the past and this trend continues to grow. People act smarter and understand that it’s not necessary to own many things as they can be easily hired. Therefore we believe that our platform Daylui.com can connect people and enable them easily share and hire anything they need, anywhere in the world.

Also we strongly believe that our product is bringing a lot of added value to people, since owners can off-set their ownership costs, by leasing their items to other people. Resources are going to be used more efficiently. This can become great opportunity to earn extra income, and disrupt equipment rental market like Airbnb did to hotel industry.

Where are you based?

We have company registered in UK and that’s our target market. Although we are currently working on a remote basis from Lithuania, Latvia & Russia.

When was the company launched?

We had this idea under development and in our heads for many years, but we launched website in the beginning of 2016.

What have been your biggest wins to date?

We had received Duke of York young Entrepreneurship awards, for innovative and potential business idea.

What type of people (market segment) are you trying to attract to your product?

We are young company and need more time to understand market segment and people who are using our service in order to focus on target segment. However, we are open to everyone, it’s free to use our services and we are happy for anyone joining our community.

Currently we work actively with companies and try to persuade them listing their rental inventory, as it gives them free opportunity to advertise and gain more customers.

Tell us about your team?

Currently we are a team of 4 people. We have known each other for more than 5 years, and worked on other successful projects such as esquoia.com. Team consists of 2 technical people who are responsible for Frontend and Back-end development of our project. As well as we have 2 non-technical persons, who are responsible for business development, sales and marketing.

What are you long term plans for your product / company?

We want to become trusted and known brand in rental market. Whenever people need to rent something, they would always drop by and check out great rental offers from other people.

Currently we are looking to raise funding to increase growth and develop our product further, adding mobile applications and more.

What are your favourite tech gadgets?

At Daylui, we really like Virtual Reality! We are looking to buy few pairs of VR glasses and lease it via our platform!
