Circular launches Kickstarter campaign for stylish personal wellness smart ring

The wellness wearable tracks how a user responds to their activities, daily choices and body rhythms and provides personal insights and recommendations to improve their overall lifestyle

Circular launched a crowdfunding campaign for their namesake product, a lightweight and stylish wellness smart ring that uses correlations between day and night data and offers users personalized recommendations to assist them in healthier lifestyles. It is now available on Kickstarter starting at $199 USD.

Circular is a smart ring and wellness wearable that analyzes correlations between night and day data instead of just measuring metrics and providing raw data. The ring focuses on how the user responds to their activities, daily choices, and rhythms and provides personalized recommendations based on the data it gathers. The ring is comfortable, fashionable and discreet enough for 24/7 wear, thus providing consistent tracking and insights.

“A lot of the wearable devices that we see are too bulky, too gadget looking, lack personalization and present users with raw data without telling them how to use it. As wearable users ourselves, we wanted a device that would not only be more personal but would also use the data it found to help make recommendations for an overall healthier lifestyle,” said CEO Amaury Kosman.

Paired with the Circular mobile app, there are several customizable features that assist in analyzing and improving various areas of daily life such as the Smart Alarm which is noninvasive and silent. Circular studies the user’s sleep and smoothly wakes them up during the light sleep stage without disturbing their surroundings by using silent vibrations.

It also includes A “Sleep Tracking” feature that analyzes the wearer’s body signals during sleep to help keep track of its efficiency while helping to improve its quality using sleep metrics. The “Activity Tracking” keeps track of the wearer’s physical activities with different metrics such as the automatic activity recognition, activity intensities and volumes, steps counter, heart training zone, Sp02 (analyzing the user’s oxygen levels) and more.

Finally, the “Wellness Monitoring” feature monitors overall wellness and energy with day and night advanced cross analyses.

Circular also features an AI assistant, Kira, an integrated intelligent companion that delivers smart and tailor-made insights with the user’s data, so they can improve at the right moment.

“At Circular, the idea was to create a device that would be your everyday life companion – from the beginning of the day by waking you up smoothly with a smart alarm, to a sleep analysis at the of the day,” said Kosman. “We also wanted a device that could help combat sleep inertia, to help with a user’s sports sessions with deep activity metrics and unique insights, to even getting notifications directly on your finger. Everyone is unique.

Whether it is in terms of lifestyle, fitness, thoughts, choices, recovery, health, or sleep patterns. We wanted a wearable that would fit seamlessly in everyday activities and that would help users reach their goals.”.

Circular features custom outer shells to wear on different occasions. There are 7 ring sizes available and they range from US6 to US12. The ring is also waterproof, scratch-resistant, weighs 4 grams and features built-in data storage. It’s compatible with iOS 11+ on Apple devices and with all Androids 6.0 +.
