10 Myths About Instagram For Business

Instagram is one of the biggest social media platforms with a user base of over 800 million users. Over half of these users are visiting the social media platform on a daily basis, which means there is a lot of attention there. If you can harness even a fraction of that attention towards your products and services, then it can equate to big returns.

It doesn’t matter what type of industry you’re operating in there are customers that would pay attention to your posts if they are well-crafted. A competitor of Instagram is Snap Chat, which only has 160 million users in comparison. Therefore, Instagram has a significantly bigger arena for getting the message out about your products.

Currently there are over 1 million advertisers on Instagram and 60% of well-known companies are operating on there. With such a high concentration of marketing it means something must be working. Otherwise there wouldn’t be such a big deal of effort made to create daily posts.

You can learn from the posts of industry competitors to see what’s working for them. Instagram like all platforms requires a certain type of theme. Here it’s typically easy going, light and entertainment focused. Leave the boring corporate stuff for the about us page of your website. Learn from the posts to figure out how you can create posts that match the interests of Instagram users.
