MineCon

Dublin, and possibly Ireland’s first Minecraft convention.

This was a surprise massive success. Baldoyle  Forum were completely surprised and delighted with the response to organising the event. One of the young members, after attending Comic Con, wondered why there wasn’t a Mine Con in Ireland. From such questions great ideas evolve, and Heidi Bedell, Baldoyle Forum manager organised the event. She was delighted at the turnout, and impressed at the range of products on offer, and the interest from the large numbers of young people and adults attending.

The queue began to form outside the hall, and ran back for a long way. As you can imagine it was a younger crowd, but boy was it a hit. If you’re stuck trying to come up with Christmas presents, the massive level of enthusiasm and participation here would indicate that Minecraft themed presents could be a big hit this Xmas.
